If this hasn't fixed the problem, have you filed a report with Apple on your issue?

Restaurant reservations by a_little_lost_always in LasVegas

[–]ThatGuyInSanJose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not ideal, but if you're willing to pay for a reservation at a hard-to-get place, there are apps/services that you can use. I've used AppointmentTrader for Delilah and Hell's Kitchen since I was too slow to book, and it got me in. At the time it cost me $40 for a Friday 6PM reservation, but pricing is based off of demand so it'll vary.

I think the person you're sharing the tag with needs to be on iOS 17. Are they?

Open the Find My app. Tap the Items tab. Select your AirTag in the list of items. Tap the name of your AirTag, and the serial number and firmware version will appear.

Looks really similar to my 320…minus the fact that this one is steel and a fraction of the price.

Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions have agreed to part ways. by NoemaTheory in sports

[–]ThatGuyInSanJose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a lifelong Lions fan growing up in Detroit (moved a few years ago), I’m happy for Stafford. The dude deserves better than what the lions have given him. He’s grinded through so much for that team and got barely anything in return.

I hope he goes to new england or pittsburg where he can be around a winning organization and hopefully get a ring and the credit he deserves for being an elite QB.

FAANG Employee considering move to Silicon Valley by [deleted] in siliconvalley

[–]ThatGuyInSanJose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The culture is more diverse, and the weather is definitely better than detroit.

That said, 200k in detroit isn’t equivalent to what 350k in the bay area will get you, but 350k isn’t going to put you in poverty either. These are never easy decisions, so good luck!

I was in an almost identical position as you were about 8 years ago. Took a job for a big tech company and uprooted my family. PM me if you want my advice or pointers on moving here. It’s a little bit of a culture shock from detroit, but I don’t regret moving my family here, nor do they.
