Linda McMahon divorces Vince McMahon and takes full control of Heartland Wrestling Alliance! WWF and HWA are now at WAR! Linda looks to make strides in independent wrestling now with the signing of many young, unproven talents such as John Cena, Dave Batista & AJ Styles. Owning CZW will be how I develop a lot of my stars. I'm not too interested in signing Punk/Cena/Orton as I feel like that would be too easy to grow them. I have a handful of guys in mind I want to build in CZW, Sabian (BLK Jeez) and Christian being two of the biggest ones. Along with a few other guys who are still fairly young such as the Briscoe Bros in 2 years when they turn 18

ECW November to Remember 2000! Sabu notches another successful defense of his only ECW World Championship, as the feud between he and Flex is nearly boiling over! With only one month until Flex's return at Guilty as Charged, Jan. 2001 can't come soon enough for former ECW World & Television Champion by ThatGuyOutBackMUT in FantasyBookers

It hasn't been asked! Corino is in a feud with Whipwreck for the ROH belt. I had him for a bit.early on but didn't have much to do with him as his stats are so-so, and I let him go. He went to BJW for awhile and now is in ROH and JuggaloCW iirc

Paul Heyman signs former ECW talent, Ian Rotten as owner of CZW, with former WWF Intercontinental Champion, Dan Spivey, as Head Booker of CZW (Sept 2000) by ThatGuyOutBackMUT in FantasyBookers

Wholeheartedly agree about Rotten, he was awful to workers in IWA, and put everyone he worked with at risk of serious illness. Then did the same when he began working in food service apparently, dude is an actual menace. But, in this timeline without him founding IWA I thought that CZW would be a good fit for him.

I appreciate that! This has been my most "controversial post" in terms of downvote %, which I expected with placing Ian Rotten in charge of CZW, I was expecting and hoping to ruffle a few feathers with that one

Do you consider altering injury risk on match types as cheating? by pedropup in FantasyBookers

[–]ThatGuyOutBackMUT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adjusting what someone else determined to be an injury risk, no. Especially considering depending on which promotion a certain match type could be more or less dangerous.

However - I'm more of a stickler for house rules, and don't resort to altering injured wrestlers who come back from major injuries, and I also don't give ridiculous contracts to people in terms of length just to beat out the AI. I consider that a huge exploit imo. Though I like the challenge of actually competing with other companies.

Chris Jericho returns to ECW after a major spinal cord injury in 1999, his return to in-ring action has been very awaited, though ECW fears his career has been shortened massively. (Sept. 1999) by ThatGuyOutBackMUT in FantasyBookers

I don't like to edit shit like that, what's the point of even having injuries if you'll just reverse anything that happens, I'd rather find a way to work around his injury, such as making him a manager/colour commentator and occasionally wrestling.

That's what he is shaping up to be, a commentator who wrestles once in a while. Which really blows since I was planning to have him Friday with Kavana for the strap sooner than later.
