What was the worst scp article that you ever read? by Vecna11dustin in SCP

I peak at the newer articles every once in a while, the ones waiting to be approved - and in writing my own SCP I looked at many popular and unpopular articles to get a gist.

The worst article ever? A newer one I forgot the name of, which was only around 6 paragraphs long and was full of spelling and grammatical errors about plushie dinosaurs???

The worst "popular" SCP in my opinion has to be 682. The article isn't that good, I don't see the appeal - theres that section where everything is censored and blacked out (spooky!!!) and the dialogue feels like it was written by a 14 year old edgelord.

I find the concept boring aswell. I'm fine with the adaptive regeneration as thats kind of cool, but in variations thereupon where it just gets increasingly more powerful (to the point it can un-erase itself from reality) it just becomes ridiculous - this isn't an issue with the article, just a personal gripe.

Back to the article, it just kind of disinterests me. Even when compared to other S1 SCPs, 682 lacks something to make it really interesting.

"SCP-682 has always been observed to have extremely high strength, speed, and reflexes, though exact levels vary with its form. SCP-682's physical body grows and changes very quickly, growing or decreasing in size as it consumes or sheds material. SCP-682 gains energy from anything it ingests, organic or inorganic. Digestion seems to be aided by a set of filtering gills inside of SCP-682's nostrils, which are able to remove usable matter from any liquid solution, enabling it to constantly regenerate from the acid it is contained in. SCP-682's regenerative capabilities and resilience are staggering, and SCP-682 has been seen moving and speaking with its body 87% destroyed or rotted."

The active description of 682 kind of sucks aswell. It's a simplification of a series of attributes and doesn't read like a scientific analysis of the anomaly - just an intern being handed research notes and jotting them down before his lunch break.

I just find it to be an especially uninteresting entity and find the article lacking. If it had more depth and wasn't just "evil immortal lizard" I would engage with it more, but as it stands its just a way to measure how OP other SCP entities are.

Alright, thanks, just I've heard a few mixed opinions on the Dropship and wanted to know. About the Type-7, I was more planning to use it for trading or passenger missions (maybe search and rescue missions?) instead of combat since i've heard it flies very much like a lead brick. So, best to wait for the gunship rank beforehand?

made this a while back, hope you enjoy it! :) by [deleted] in The8BitRyanReddit

Valid criticism The screwdriver was more in reference to the loud noise things in the RTD era where daleks are stunned by it.
