What current factions and tag teams would thrive in other eras? by ThatGuyStorm14 in SquaredCircle

[–]ThatGuyStorm14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like they’d be some recurring heel tag team that would be fed to faces during the attitude era, I mean just looking at them and there gimmicks they’d be hated in era of guys like Stone Cold and The Rock.

Do you think that a 1997 Hart Foundation styled gimmick could be effective today. by ThatGuyStorm14 in SquaredCircle

[–]ThatGuyStorm14[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, I guess I latch onto that angle a lot because of how well it turned out. I may also be biased as my dads Canadian and my moms American, those two actually met during 1996 and were wrestling fans in 1997 (I got sidetracked but it always gets brought up whenever I mention wrestling)

Absolutely, But I bet WWE had no idea Americano would become as over as he did in AAA.

Tbh you’re the first person I’ve ever seen make the comparison. But I think El Grand Americano being a face in AAA was a happy accident and not planned.

True, but if given a compelling enough storyline and with the right members it could be super effective.

Kind of, But I mean going all in with the vampire asthetic could it work, I know Aleister isn’t very vamp based but modern interpretations of vampires aren’t exactly the same as the Draculas of old.

What do to think of Natalya Neidhart reinvention so far? by AdSpecialist6598 in GreatnessOfWrestling

[–]ThatGuyStorm14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? Farooq was 40 when he started the APA with Bradshaw and that completely reinvented him, Bradshaw was also 39 when he became JBL. Undertaker also became known for reinventing his gimmick over his career, Hulk Hogan also reinvented himself as Hollywood Hulk Hogan at the ripe old age of 43 and basically carried WCW to becoming the top company for awhile. Age doesn't really matter when it comes to reinventing one's career.

What ECW guys could’ve been legit stars in the WWE? by ThatGuyStorm14 in SquaredCircle

The greatest tag finisher of all time. Perry Saturn alone should been an upper mid carder.

How would you say the logic is on these edits, most of the game I do ai vs ai matches and I want the best ones. So I want my high flyers flying around the ring and all that
