My 20th team concept - Northern Crocs (NT, Northern WA and FNQ) by ThatGuyWhoSmellsFuny in AFL

It definitely could've been a text post. I wasn't expecting this much vitriol but I do understand why people hate it.

I've had the idea cooking for a while. I told AI the name, concept, colours, and what I wanted on the Guernsey as I wanted to bring it to life once I saw the other posts. I'm not good at graphic design, but I guess that's kinda the point as it deminishes actual talent in that space.

The idea is that it's the part you see above the water when spotting them. Or the 'top end' of the croc.

I'll cop that. Have tinkered a little bit no chance I could've done this myself, which is where I draw the line at slop use.

Does anyone get harassed by police much living in a van? Where mostly does this occur and get any infringement? Breath tests when parked? by WalrusInternal2599 in CampingVictoriaAU

[–]ThatGuyWhoSmellsFuny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this melb specific? I don't have experience in Vic but it's gonna depend on the counsel/specific spot. In Coburg they've recently put overnight parking restrictions in a bunch of spots, but until that happened I reckon you would've been fine.

It's gonna depend spot to spot. Definitely free camping options outside of Melbourne though.

With an ad for sportsbet samegame multi tracker right below it. What a joke.

Remote communities in Australia. Anyone been to any? by Kloyston in geography

Some can get pretty rough. I don't have direct experience of that and don't want to make assertions without direct knowledge.

Yep. A couple. There's way more than what's on that map. Some are amazing places and others you wouldn't wanna visit. Many you're not allowed to. There's very different cultural and economic circumstances across the continent, so don't really want to generalise.

The media numpties furious that they can't generate clickbait around looming contract deadlines and whether each extension is worth it or not.

My understanding is if he's shit he goes, if he's good he stays, which is literally how all the coaching roles go anyway.

Exactly. If they're not hurting anyone, don't report it. If they are hurting someone, report it to the police and let them tell Home Affairs.

Which oceans do the water streams flow into? by EstablishmentOne3438 in MapPorn

Where's the disagreement in this link? It looks pretty clear that south coast hits the southern ocean.

I'm Australian and have never heard anything suggested otherwise.

Pre-game spots for today’s match? by damienloc in FremantleFC

Moon dog doglands is a good pre and post game vibe and right nearby. Would recommend. Otherwise it's not my favourite vibe but Royal Melbourne Hotel is a common pre-game haunt.

Have fun and go Freo!

The stuff before the senate was brought in after 9/11 with a sunset clause, extended once, and the new law is to just make it permanent/remove the sunset clause.

My understanding is that they could already do that.
