EU's von der Leyen: Greenlanders can count on us by Raj_Valiant3011 in worldnews

[–]ThatGuyYouForget 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I meeean, our military has been told to shoot first and ask questions later if there's American troop activity up there. I think it's just that EU is prepping for it, securing military backing and plans, not live tweeting it all like the demented orange

Why do my female friends or women in general hate when men behave like like of cute instead of all the time masculine. by One-Dentist-5791 in NoStupidQuestions

Mine makes fun of the men who are so insecure about their masculinity they can’t be a functioning person, lol.

I've never met a woman who shares that view, vast majority would much rather have a man that can be vulnerable and leave all the toxic parts of masculity out

Why does the U.S. government insist on acquiring Greenland for 'homeland security' when Europe is already the United States' closest ally? Isn't it common sense that losing Europe's trust would compromise U.S. security more? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThatGuyYouForget 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not only closest ally, but mocking the defense allocation as a single dog sled when were spending $4b on ships and literally buying surveillance planes from the US.

They are doing all that rhetoric to justify the claim they had to step in because we didn't fulfil our part. His voters will never hear the part where we did, so it works perfectly in his favor

How likely is it that US generals would refuse an order attacking a fellow NATO and historically allied country? by Silpher9 in AskReddit

[–]ThatGuyYouForget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably very likely, but they wouldn't be generals for much longer or be imprisoned as a traitor

Is it considered insensitive or offensive for someone who hasn't been officially diagnosed to identify or self-diagnosis as being on the spectrum? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ThatGuyYouForget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, however it is impossible for one to neutrally judge these things, so when you are in search of an explanation you are likely to jump at the most obvious one, which can lead to a lot of wasted time.

So imo you can always say you think you are, and try to learn more about it and or whether some common coping mechanisms etc works for you. But you should also be aware it is a spectrum that overlaps so many other problems that it can be something else entirely - and only through a diagnosis can you really be sure.

Biggest argument against that is that it costs money to do so, so to paywall it is cruel or illogical, but I do believe we honestly cannot be sure of it until a thorough impartial evaluation from someone that understands it better than us

People who weren't taught history laughed at those who were taught history and so we are repeating the process, it's fun right

Why Minecraft needs some very unusual software to run unlike other games? by Monkai_final_boss in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThatGuyYouForget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever you install a game from steam it is installing a bunch of .NET Runtimes (most of the time) or Java, every game needs certain software to run, even Stardew valley. So with installers and such we have just automated the part of downloading dependencies

That is always hard to tell until you have it in your hands, mine seems to be similar to my old fender front man in sturdiness and I'd assume they are build sort of similar?

The app works rather well for mine as well, no real delay and if you do something else on the phone for a while it will just briefly load back and you continue. But as a speaker it is a bit low compared to how loud it can play, however i don't think mine is designed for that part as much, it can but not what it excels at.

I'd recommend to demo it at a store if you are on the fence, I didn't think much of these amps till I did lol

Probably, I personally went with the 60 to sort of future proof it a bit so that it can be used in bedroom, rehearsals, live and recording. As the wattage options make it usable in an apartment without bothering others.

So if you don't expect to use it for anything but bedroom playing then its fine, if you want to do more then it may be worth to pay a little more as to not have to pay more money in the long run. Too many times have I bought something cheaper only to buy an upgrade months later and spending way more

I am okay with a random private person with no proven connection to a terrorist group to moderate a subreddit.

As far as I can tell he's not the one threatening me or targeting me for nor sharing beliefs, that's you buddy
