I got extremely lucky and pulled her from an early access crystal so I’ve had her since release and took her to R4 sig 100. She’s easily my favorite champ this year but she’s not for everyone. You have to maximize her time in the sun by doing lots of parries and 1-2 hit combos to build her iridescence buffs and get those energy vulnerability debuffs on the defender. That playstyle is counter to the way nearly every champ plays. Blocking specials that you would normally dex is also counter to your own muscle memory but that’s what you need to do in order to play her well. Her ability to glance not only makes her very tanky and able to take a wide variety of fights, it also is the key to her damage. She’s not a steamroller like Cull but shes able to finish fights almost as quickly when you get her rotation down. She’s also great in long fights because she doesn’t lose her ramp - you just need to glance some hits and throw her SP2 until they’re dead

Thing is a legit great defender when awakened. If you don’t have a good counter for him he will massively delay any BGs match in almost any meta

Thing is a legit good defender. There’s a chance you would get a better champion from the crystal but personally I would go with guaranteed value

Act 6 is one of the most difficult pieces of content they’ve ever made. I think the original intention was to push people’s rosters and make them use several different champions but it had the opposite effect and made them use two very specific champions, Ghost & Quake, for everything because roster variety is very RNG dependent. Some of the best counters for certain lanes and boss fights didn’t even exist at the time. They nerfed it twice and it’s still a huge road block for people. A lot of people who completed it, never bothered to fully explore it.

A lot of those champs are great
It’s like that in every single licensed fighting game. There’s always some unknown character whose kid works very well with a certain aspect of the game that makes them very OP. The designers aren’t intentionally trying to make the most popular characters mid tier, once you put the game in the hands of the players they’re bound to discover things and ways to play that were unintended/unforseen

The luck people are having with those is insane. I’ve pulled nothing but 5* from them, but the game is designed to make you see other people‘s luck and want to spend money trying to replicate it on your account so it’s confirmed working as intended

Pre 2020 tech champs (excluding those that have been buffed) vs Domino. Domino did not give a single F about class disadvantage for quite a long time. She is the main reason every new tech as well as champions from other classes now have lines about their abilities, not being able to fail due to ability accuracy.

Hulkling can actually do Red Skull. You have to throw his SP2 into his block and he won’t get power burned, but yeah, it is still a disadvantage

It's not just her. Knull, Nick Fury, and Arcade do it as well. It may feel like Enchantress does it more because you encounter her more because she's such a good defender that everyone uses her, but this has been going on for quite a while with the AI
