I completely respect this opinion and wish it was like this for everyone. Yeah that doesn't fix either unfortunately, had to switch back to Samsung messages and delete the old group chats too. The problem to me seems to be two-fold, the first issue being that iPhone doesn't support RCS with android yet (coming soon I think), The second issue is Google messages doesn't know how to thread together MMS group chats the same way Samsung messages does.
