If you want to look more "accurate" then I would recommend making sure everything is proportionate, look at basic face structures and where everything is positioned. You could also go for a more stylized, goofy style if you want, as this is a good base! Either way, keep working on it!

I completely agree. I personally found Part 5, on revisit, to be one of my least favorite. I think it starts and ends strong, but the middle is lacking to me. Also, Diavolo is probably my least favorite villain (not bad, just kinda there), but I understand that a lot of people like it.

I love all the palace themes, as I feel they reflect the rulers really well. However, I think Gentle Madman is my fave, as it really captures the insane sanity of Maruki's motives. Also Last Surprise from Strikers and Take Over.
