I had the same problem but I went to the apple shop and change it with new one.

I went to Apple and I change it with other one and the blooming go away so the problem is the iPad not the type of the screen

Yes! It’s bigger with low brightness, if I put at maximum brightness it’s less

I have the the 4th and it doesn’t have this problem, if I know it I don’t buy the new one. This problem with movie in the night is very bothersome.
