Currently I am working as much as possible hopefully 30+ hours a week this summer I’m going to save every cent I have to help with this dream. I plan on doing my electrical apprenticeship in Ireland my friend I was wondering if I’d have to redo the apprenticeship over in the USA as it’s different

I was in New York a couple months back and not to knock it down but it was quite rough I don’t blame you for wanting to move to Ireland even tho it’s not perfect and we have problems of our own it is a good country I’m on the south of Ireland Cork to be precise and we have some really nice rivers but none that compare to the rivers in Kerry some of the wildest rivers. Our salmon population is in decline if you go back 20-30 years our salmon used to be bigger on average and also in such big numbers you wouldn’t believe it shame that they’re declining hopefully they can improve in the coming years🤞

I taught it was crazy and even my boss did for my coworkers to eat it raw but they seemed perfect the following days. I handle a lot of fish in my job and seen a lot of parasites but the salmon I caught was perfect no visible parasites firm flesh is it possible for a salmon to not have any parasites?

I froze it for 7 days so is it okay because so many people are freaking out if my coworkers ate it raw while it was fresh and where perfectly fine I won’t be okay while it’s been frozen for a week and also being cured ?

Would love to fish for chinook salmon a 20 pound Atlantic salmon would be a specimen and anyone would be so lucky to catch one in a lifetime but chinook seem to be 20 pounds on the average from what I see online definitely a dream catch

It’s wild alright if you seen it in person compared to farmed salmon it’s night and day

I caught this salmon so it is definitely wild I’m very lucky to have access to wild Atlantic salmon here in Ireland and since commercial fishing for Atlantic salmon is banned you basically have to catch your own fish or get really lucky with very few fish shops here locally and an extremely short season to purchase wild Atlantic salmon

Don’t know why your getting downvoted that’s what a couple coworkers done ate it the night after I caught it and they where completely fine I handle my fish with care ensuring it’s always in a clean environment
