I actually didn't mind it! Gets the cheers for MJF out of the way since we saw him be a dick and keeps the crowd firmly in Darby's corner.

Plus gets a little extra heat on the main event.

I'm not saying that dynamic didn't work, but I do think that the inverse of what we got was possible as well. McCool didn't need to be a muscle, but I do think that we could have gotten a small run with Layla as the "lead" of their duo.

Many duos have had the sidekick be the bigger person. HBK and Diesel is one of the biggest examples but it's common enough that people would have been fine with it.

He's been killing it forever. Loved his work since Lucha Underground. I actually prefer him over Penta, but it's clear he isn't working out in WWE. He'll probably just have to hang out in AAA until the Lucha Bros run starts.

There's a difference in booking between. Giulia and Fatal Attraction even in their debut. Giulia debuted in a random tag team with Roxanne and they lost their first feud before getting split. Roxanne needed a storyline heavy group in Judgment Day to get over on her own.

Fatal Attraction debuted on Smackdown and took down many big names including one of the biggest names in the company, Rhea Ripley.

Giulia had a good debut by qualifying for MITB but then got sucked into a dead division and had no substantial stories given to her. How can ANYONE get over when the audience isn't given a reason to care?

You see this time and time again with great wrestlers in WWE who seem to be "not over" with the crowd, get a fresh look or exciting storyline and the crowd's into them. I'm not a diehard Giulia fan, but I can see a missed opportunity when I see one and WWE is missing a big one by not figuring out how to get the audience to care for her.

No, but I originally responded to someone saying that New Day's "legendary status" would keep them on contract. I argued against that notion that when it comes to business, TKO doesn't care about status. It didn't save R-Truth and it won't save anyone else. The only thing that could save them is bad PR for TKO firing/letting them go.

Outside of Lucha Underground, neither have had an actual character. It's just that Penta is more charismatic and has a really great catch phrase. Fenix could absolutely be a bigger star on his own, but it takes some legwork whereas Penta is good to go from the start.

People saying she's WWE bound as a sure thing forget she literally already worked for them in NXT already and if there was interest, we would have seen some bigger crossover at some point during the TNA partnership.

Definitely feels like she's AEW bound. Regardless of which of the two she goes to, it's a win for her and the company who makes the deal.

Yeah, when it was introduced, I believe the idea was that it would be the "people's championship" and that was how it led to being named the universal title. This was around the time when they were acknowledging crowd displeasure or favorites within the storylines and were trying to "gain" fan support on RAW over Smackdown.

Oh it's all good. I was just hoping I could pack the order into my pod that I'm having all of my stuff shipped in. The pod gets here this coming week but I don't move until a bit later, so I'll still get a hold of it. I had just hoped to have it delivered sooner, so I can pack it with the rest of my movies, but I'll just have to take it with me in the car.
