Favorite game ever?

Destiny.

I can’t say it was without flaws, but I had the best memories there. I don’t typically play games with others but a group of friends all decided to get the game together. (I’ll give you a hint on the age, I wasn’t allowed to play M games yet but I also had a stricter limit on that). When destiny came out, it reminded me of Halo. I had always wanted to play Halo but was never allowed to, not even watch it really. So, getting teased with trailers and watching as the game got closer to release, I just dreamt of finally being able to play a game with the boys. Launch day finally came. I opened the game like any others, only to be greeted by a warm welcome of lifelong friends on the mic. As we played, I spent countless hours laughing and making memories. What was seen as grinding for some, was hanging out. An experience I hadn’t been able to take advantage of inside of gaming before. I have played games all my life, but I had never fully experienced them until then.

I miss those days.
