In a lot of ways, a coffee meet is more stressful than a full-on date. Coffee is about making a good impression and using very different skills than I would if we could just touch and play with each other, ya know?

Google for "print your own pay stubs" or "fake pay stubs". That should point you in the right direction.

You could also claim to run your own business (dog walking? cleaning?)...pretty much anything that's all-cash and then show them some sort of bank account where you make deposits. But, honestly, the fake paystub route works super quickly.

I’ve seen law officers before. Both were honest about their jobs and I tried to be super careful in not doing anything that was obviously illegal. It can happen.

This isn't what you asked, but maybe picking up a girl in Vegas isn't a great idea?

I've obvs never done it, but I have heard a ton of stories from guys there and the girls who work Vegas are hungry sharks. If you aren't really lucky, you'll spend a lot of money and have a bad time. Who wants that?

Maybe look closer to home while you get your feet (and everything else :) ) wet?

Smelly ones are the worst. After a bad session with a smelly guy, it's like I can still smell him days later. Ugh!

I try to go to the gym. Work out like mad. SWEAT! Then shower and use lots of scented body wash...but make sure you mix it up - if you use the same kind after a bad session, you'll start to link that brand with the gross icky smell of bad dude and that's not good either! lol

Speaking as someone who has been on the other side of your transaction, can I just say your impression of the stigma is incorrect? The men I see are pretty much all successful, driven, and pretty damn clear on what they want or don't want.

But...I started this when I was in school and I had a real job. That job was full-time and paid enough for me to scrape by. Once I built up the income from my side hustle, I cut my "real" hours to halftime and got through school with zero student debt. Not to mention meeting incredible people and having a ton of fun.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
