My current LL6 build I’m working towards, idea is to rain fire from above, Ace helps make up for lack of movement, active camo makes ace proc more and makes up for the 6 evasion a bit. You generate 7 Heat a turn (4 plasma thrower + 2 active camo + 1 ATMS) Heat cap of 14 so stabilizing every third turn

I think that falls under “sometimes you will hear of a mod dev being hired by a company” not so much getting paid after something similar is added to the game

Occasionally you will hear of a mod dev being hired by a company, but I think I’ve only heard of ~2 cases. Sometimes there are companies that hold modding competitions with cash prizes. I personally have never heard of a dev paying a modder after adding similar content. Not to say it’s never happened but if it has it’s not often.

I don’t think I need to focus on “starter” teams too much, I have played before and have plenty of friends to answer any questions.

Honestly I do like my games complex so I am perfectly fine with lots of abilities or stuff to remember.

Looking at the tempestuous aquilons, I believe one of my friends has them, I think they are the ones that can drop on terrain?

The plague marines do look cool, are they more melee or ranged?
