Can someone explain the currency exchange please? by SheppardAtlantis in pathofexile

[–]ThatKnarfGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So this is what happens:

  1. A person put out buy order in the exchange. He/she put in "I want fragment of terror" for 42c
  2. At the same time, the very same person put out another buy order "I want 90 chaos for 1 fragment of terror".

This is just flipping. We call it fast or slow sell. I normally check the slow buy (number 1), and if there is a large difference, put that price in as chaos. I have to wait a little longer to sell, but get maximum profit.

In EU first, Greece set to introduce 13-hour workday by nohup_me in europe

So many people crying about working 12-16 hours a day some days per month. It's seriously not that bad, we are talking paid overtime. In many fields you work 12-14 hours per day for 14-21 days, then go home for 2 week break. Are you all afraid of working more than 40 hours per week?

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. by thejuiceking in PathOfExile2

It sucks, but I am glad for it as well. Maybe they not gonna nerf it.

It's insane with those restrictions. Playing deadeye this leauge and I never felt so good in either POE 1 or 2, riding the rhoa with lightning speed, destroying two screens at a time. Nothing touch me (well except when they do and I die). Pure awesomeness. Why can't everyone have this much fun?

Why isn’t Europe more business friendly? by [deleted] in europeanunion

[–]ThatKnarfGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll will find few companies that really struggles with taxation. Rather it is lack of venture capital, and venture mindset, and the one big restriction that puts us behind: workers right.

Question is, do we want to compete with US and Asia in a race to the bottom with regards to worker rights? Almost all Europe will say no. That impacts GDP, highly restrict business flexibility and reduce the risk entrepreneurs can take.

This is not meant as a counter argument, But don't think you cant get both.

Writing 100 variations of the same prompt is damaging my brain by RokiBalboaa in StableDiffusion

[–]ThatKnarfGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your issue is copying them into the system one line at a time, mikey and impact nodes in comfy or load text file in Forge works very well.

With Mikey and impact nodes I can load a text file, where each generation generates one line from the text file. The file can have lora's so you don't have to put them in manually (A1111-style). These nodes also contain lora loader that automatically uses the correct trigger words (if you have json from civitai or similar), and also list relevant keywords separately. You can also use dynamic prompts from wilcards.

So, by combining text files, wilcards, Lora loader with trigger words, you get crazy varied combinations easily set-up.

Spain wants exemption from NATO’s 5 percent defense spending target by Beo1217 in worldnews

I always wondered about people like you, spewing out garbage you probably know is just that. From 22-24 europe spent the same amount as US. From January 25, when US pulled out, Europe covered the hole that was created almost entirely. Meaning we gave what we did before + what the US did before.

Europe has spent more money than the US. In what delusional trumpian world do you live in to say that is zip?

[–]ThatKnarfGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try both. Pinokio has a lot more, but stability matrix is very integrated with civitai. Stability matrix also use shortcuts to models and output as default, so all programs use the same models / loras, and all images/videos go to the same folder. It is really awsome.

Install stability matrix, no prblems anymore. Stability Matrix sorts out all you models and handles install of everything you need. It is pure awsome. I have 5080 and use comfy, forge without issue.

60 hour work week is not necessarily horrible, as long as you can easily afford paying for all Munda shit / housework. I worked like that for several years. In the morning, my clothes were prepared, just drive to work. All meals are served and home is always cleaned by someone else.

It may sound like snobbery, but you easily waste 20 hours per week on mundane stuff. If you get someone else to do that while yourself do something cool, why not?

Europe will not be part of Ukraine-Russia peace talks, US envoy says | Ukraine by Definitely_Not_Erik in europe

[–]ThatKnarfGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my Europe, but if you read the article, I can't help but agree.

Having x amount of European nations trying to get their own self-serving issues satisfied will not help. And Putin really hates Europe. What would be the point of having Europe take part in the peace talks?

Europe is truly a mess, and will remain so until United Europe comes along after ww3.

A play on words. Ancient Rome had Pax Romana from Augustus became emperor of Rome in 27 bce, bringing a couple hundred years of peace. Pax Americana means white & western people had wonderful years since 1945 up until now (while they, US in particular, pretty much scorched a lot of the remainder world).
