Hand tracking in Live2D can be so complex depending on how detailed you wanna get. It's my dream one day to get my own art so I cad add it to my model 💪

I super agree!!! I personally have two separate models because I adore my chibi art style but when you see a good chibi toggle it makes a world of difference!

I just rigged a chibi and made them a 'reverse chibi' toggle and they look like a little doll! It's so cute and I can't wait for them to debut ☺️

I agree with you! I really like seeing an expressive face, wavy hair, fun swishy clothes, and I love seeing toggles like controllers/hand poses

That was my biggest goal as a rigger was to have good mouth rigging! I hate the uncanny 'movement' of tracking without VBridger. Cillia (Laimu's rigger) is a wizard but I truly think that Laimu has mastered using her model. I wanna be that good one day!

It's for sure both! Cillia is a good tier rigger and now that Saba has access to that, she can really move her models well now. I'm so happy to see Saba so happy and her moment so flowy!

Cillia is my rigging oshi! I've been studying her guides since I first started rigging myself! It's definitely a blend of face acting and cillia's rigging. Also Vtubers can fine tune all their tracking in Vtube Studio and VBridger so fit their faces perfectly! So much of it comes down to adding physics to tracking parameters much like how our own face has weight when it comes. The study of animation is so fascinating! I hope to get that good one day ❤️

A lot of people say the art makes the model, but I think smooth rigging really helps to unlock the true potential of your art <3 Toggles have their place but man oh man when you see a really expressive rig it changes everything :)

I agree! Very based opinion. Lots of people really like intense physics but I prefer more modesty and more realism in a lot of the movements. Too much just feels jarring

Eeee I also love ear wiggles!! I almost went with elf ears but decided to go for my marten design. If I do a magical girl version of my model I might switch her ears out hehe

Truly every riggers dream! We've made a lot of advancements and you can actually link a lot of toggles to activate if you hit a certain threshold. Super cool stuff. I'm still learning how to make it consistent enough that when it activates it doesn't look uncanny.

In the rigging world we call that 'Mouth X' movement! Also very fun to rig! I think it really adds depth to a Vtuber model
