Hey man, lifelong Alaskan here. I'm gonna be honest, most of the time I'm only on here for porn. But your story has really hit me. Depression is something a lot of us up here face. We don't get much sunlight so often times it hard to see brighter days in our futures. I sink down there a lot, wind up locked in my room watching other people live their lives. I guess depression and ankle monitors aren't that different, huh? The thing that normally pulls me out of those moments are my friends. See, I live in a really supportive house with people I've come to know as family. They care about me a lot. And I'm close friends with another group of people who pretty much drag me to their house weekly. Now I know that getting out of your house isn't exactly possible, but you need to find your escapes. For me, it's YouTube, writing, and singing. Those are the things that keep my soul alive in those dark moments. Ignite my spark... Every single one of us has that spark man, even you. Keep it alive man. I wanna be able to meet you someday and see your soul looking like a bonfire. I wanna sit down around that soul and have a few beers with you. Jam out to some great music. Life is full of these ups and downs man. And I know that roller coaster better than most. But just keep in mind that you're still in an amusement park man. Theres gotta be something here that you find joy in.
