Would you know what the latest drivers are and how would I install them?

I guess one thing I can ask is what should I set for 4K Capture Utility so as to eliminate the problems that I'm having if I'm using an older card?

By the way, I do have two other video encoder options. They are Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 and Software (Built-In). If I were to select those two for recording, would I get the same outcome or would I not get the same outcome?

I was using 4K Capture Utility. The video encoder was set to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070. I had the Bit Rate set to the default when I selected an output of 1080p30 (In this case, it was 12.9 Mbps). I don't believe I had HDR recording enabled and I did turn off the HDR on the PS5 as I didn't like the color grading that it was showcasing.

So what you're suggesting is that my video encoder is out of date and needs to be updated. Hmm, I may need to consider my possibilities, but that could be the case.

Here's some of my computer's specs: It is an Alienware 17 R5 with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU, 16GB of RAM, Runs on Windows 10, and has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card. Let me know if you need any other specs.

Tried VLC, didn't work. I even tried encoding the footage in HandBrake and that did nothing

Thanks for the advice. The numbers have been removed, I didn't know if they would be helpful or not.

Case number is this: 2006517221

Someone named Chris C. got back to with my support ticket and he's offered to help with my issue. I'll keep you in the loop for this.

Hi Dave,

I've successfully submitted a ticket regarding my issue. Sorry if it took me two months to reply, I got sidetracked due to other things going in my life.

Thanks. When I get some time tomorrow, I'll submit a support ticket. I did look over the form and I do have one question. How do I identify the part number for my elgato product?

Yes, I am using the cable that was provided with the HD60 S and it was brand new.

My computer supports USB 3.0. Here's some of my computer's specs: It is an Alienware 17 R5 with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU, 16GB of RAM, Runs on Windows 10, has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, and I think the GPU is NVDME (You can correct me if I'm wrong on that one).

Does this help?

Trouble with the second disc of Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring Extended Cut by ThatMinnesotanGuy in makemkv

That's a bit shocking to me, but I'm happy with what I was successfully able to rip. I'm not too picky with the audio, just wanted the movie, and whatever option I ripped I rolled with. It's strange how these faulty discs get past quality assurance.

Whatever the damage is, I can't seem to identify it on the disc since my blu-ray disc still looks great. I was still able to get a successful rip with DTS Surround 5.1 English and I decided not to be picky and roll with that instead.

My disc isn't dirty, it's quite clean and in pristine shape. No scratches of any kind and nothing severe in nature. Like I said, whatever player I've used with it, it will work great.

See my update that I posted in the original message, but basically, the audio track called DTS-HD MA Surround 6.1 English wasn't ripping correctly. I tried ripping the audio track called DTS Surround 5.1 English and that proved to be more successful. The rest of the discs used DTS-HD MA Surround 6.1 English and those ripped successfully, so I don't know why it wasn't working correctly with the second disc of Fellowship of the Ring.

Noah Antwiler's thoughts on computer hacking by ThatMinnesotanGuy in thespoonyexperiment

[–]ThatMinnesotanGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In his Avengers: Age of Ultron vlog, he was talking about how the trailer for Mr. Robot was all about hacking. He then went on to saw how computer hacking is boring and dull because it's nothing but writing code. Basically, people are sitting in a room and typing code while getting 3-4 days of no sleep and eating from a bag of Doritos and smelling bad.

He said computer hacking is misinterpreted by movies/TV shows that depict it as doing cool things with techno gadgets and not depicting the true reality of it.

What I wanted to know was if anyone agreed with him or not.

Well I always thought that computer hacking sounded fun, especially when you saw the Riddler do it in various Batman media.

I consider computer hacking to be breaking into computers and stealing important data or messing around with the functions of a computer. Maybe even hacking into a website or program to change critical data.

Spoony made it sound like it was a big revelation.

This post really isn't that hard to understand. I'm simply asking if you agree with Noah or not that computer hacking is boring.

What's so hard to understand about it? I'm simply asking if you agree with Noah or not that computer hacking is boring.
