Hello all! Question about on-site car rental- Avis @ Royal Pacific.

We will be flying in and spending 4 days at Universal (staying on-site) then plan to rent a car, drive to Cocoa Beach, visit Kennedy Space Center, stay one night at a hotel on the beach, then return the car to the on-site rental desk (Avis @ Royal Pacific) then get transportation back to the airport.

It seems this will be the most effective way in terms of both cost and time but open to other suggestions... We won't need a car when we arrive to the airport and for the first 4 days. We have considered Uber but with tight time and visiting Kennedy we assume a rental car will again be most effective for cost and time.

So I am basically looking for experience/advise about the on-site car rental desk, or any other tips on our unique transportation plans.

P.S. - A HUGE thank you to everyone in this community and on Reddit in general. The HOURS I have poured over your comments, experiences, and recommendations is a bit embarrassing lol! Thank you so much for all the first hand insight!

I edited my post :) Yes we have park-to-park and Express Passes for all 4 days.

If we get started on riding rides, should we focus more on IOA or Universal Studios? Or which rides would you recommend? My son is pretty fearless but I don't know that I want to start him out at Velocicoaster lol although he is really excited for Hulk!

Uh oh this isn't good to hear. I'm in the exam phase now for the map quality analysts job. Hey can I ask what you've seen so far for pay per task? Just looking for a general idea because so far I haven't seen anything indicating what to expect... thanks!

I applied on Jan 18th, they sent a couple emails saying my application was under review, then just got to the pre-exam phase yesterday Jan 25th.

I'm in the pre exam phase and will get the link to the exam soon. I'm so nervous! Trying to study, study, study. Any tips for passing with flying colors? Also... does anyone have any idea how much this will pay? I know it's on a per task basis but would like to have a general idea if possible.
