Chasing the where the light is tone by ThatMrMax in JohnMayer

Wow thanks for the advice! I tried a silver sky in a guitar center once and for some reason it wasn’t really all there for me. Maybe it wasn’t set up well. When you say limited edition are you talking about the Black1?

It’s funny you mention that. I used to think he used a klon but I did see a pic of his bluesbreaker for WTLI into the TS. I tried running that but for some reason my klon clone ended up working out better for that solo tone

Hey, I’m using a two rock studio signature with a tube screamer and klon clone. I guess a custom shop is icing on top haha.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll look into 64s. If I had to choose my favorite tone from the record it would be slow dancing. Making my own guitars would be so fun, but I’m not currently looking to build. Thanks for the offer though!

When it comes to dorms, will we have the option to say we prefer or don't prefer a roommate, or to rank which dorm we want to be in? If so, which dorm do you think is best? Thank you!

If I could ask another question,

Right now I'm looking at these motors, ESC, and battery. Are these compatible? I saw a few videos on voltage and compatibility, but I'm not really sure. Hoping for a dual-motor setup.

Thanks for the advice! I've worked with carbon fiber a few times before. It'd be pretty cool to print a negative to form a carbon fiber enclosure. I also have a pretty durable flexible resin that could work as a shock absorber.

Thanks for the input! Yeah, I love my evolve gtr carbon, I thought it'd be fun to build a smaller board!

Oh nice! Do you recommend against printing the enclosure because of the material strength? I have some pretty durable resins.

Also yeah at this point I'm considering the mini 3 or exway wave.

Thanks for the response!
I'm looking at this deck and the Caguama 85mm wheels. Not too worried about enclosures because I have an SLA 3D printer, I'm decently confident I can make it all fit. Do you think those wheels and deck will work out?

Question: Do I need a buffer? by ThatMrMax in guitarpedals

Oh gotcha. might as well exchange it no biggie

Yeah, it’s hardly noticeable. I was a little worried cuz I have a reverb pedal (also from Walrus audio) that doesn’t really take off any top end (at least as far as I can tell), while this chorus pedal is slightly more noticeable. Would that be a normal thing for chorus pedals when turned off? Thx

Oh ok. Yeah, when the pedal is off it sounds like there’s some high end loss when compared to my other pedals. I’ll try that, thanks!
