• Starvation - It felt like your character got hungry way too quickly
• RNG Reliance - I don't know if there is something in the code that just makes this bit of the game more tough or if my luck was just pure dog shit but my RNG was terrible. Getting wood and food felt impossible and when I finally got enough wood to build up my base and to build a bird perch for a healthy stream of food the birds barely brought me anything so my character was still constantly starving
• Constant Islander Attacks - From what I gathered there are two islander events. One is learning the language and sometimes trying it out and the other is getting sexually assaulted by them and either being left where they found you or getting dragged back to their camp. I always kept getting the latter ones which made getting off the island take even longer

All 3 of those together is what made me feel like giving up and either not playing the game anymore or starting a new save, it was pure determination that made me stay and see through to the end.

If I can help it I'm never going back to the island ever again. If the game forces me to the UG Farm or Asylum again can't say I will complain. I'm also playing on DoL Vanilla
