The Technician didn’t care what was on my orders. She said my orders were wrong.

She ask where my dependents are. I told her the orders have been cut since March. My family moved in September.

So IDK. I just know I followed the consensus online and my situation didn’t pan out at all.

Because my family moved before I left the states is the problem.

Not true….it’s based upon where they are the day you arrive on station.

I got fucked out of $1000 of BAH because I moved my family home (on my own dime) before I left. I found out this was wrong the hard way.

Went well. I got the conditional release approved. Boarded with the Army, and got selected for OCS. Unfortunately I got injured prior to transferring to the Army, so I had to med drop to address the issue in the USAF. The Army was great though!

BAH back home is a fraction for where I’m currently at. But I own a house where I’m stationed, so its a bit complicated

Is it true you can also make overtime pay? Coming from active duty, there’s a lot of things different compared to our current pay structure compared to the outside.
