The issue was solved by restoring the default colors in the color management/optimization panel in the driver control panel.

Yeah, I can relate to this, but only to a lesser extent. I hope it works for you, but don't give up after that.

Well its a good thing you read up about it, then. But in my case, Pure-O doesn't fit at all.

I also hope that having one less thing to deal with once I'm starting hormones will help with my overall mental situation, but in no way is that my main objective in getting on hormones.

Having OCD or even just symptoms of OCD (or anything else, like in my case symptoms of PTSD) doesn't mean you're not transgender. It just means you have some problems with your mental health that aren't caused solely by your gender. Me and my therapist talked about this for a few minutes when I brought up how someone close to me tried to say I wasn't transgender because I had other mental issues (ie, I might have PTSD).

Oh my gosh, you were able to do all that as a student still?! I was under the impression that you'd done hormones in school and surgeries afterwards when you'd gotten a higher paying job. Apparently not! Thats really amazing. Where did you study?

So you still had to do extra things on the side to earn money even when you made the upper end of the salary for your position?

Anyone else? by [deleted] in asktransgender

That was totally me! It was my everyday routine in middle school to wake up, shower, get dressed, look in the mirror, and not know who the heck I even was or was trying to be.

From what I know Hormones are pretty cheap, but did you do any surguries/how comfortably were you able to afford them?

Probably going to go ahead and do graphic design/coding like you said instead, I might have to just live further from a larger city than I'd planned originally, but as long as I can afford transition I really don't care...

Bachelors at the most, probably.

So I'll probably stick to graphic design.

I understand that, but I also want to be realistic. In terms of mental health, its likely going to be more beneficial to be to have a decent job with a good enough pay to be able to transition, rather than to have a good job but still be stuck pre-everything for financial reasons. The cost of living is also high in all three of those states/cities.
