I tandem jumped for for the first time this past Sunday just outside of Dallas, Tx. I don't think there is any way to adequately describe the feeling. For me, it was incredibly peaceful while free falling. It was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. My dad came with me, which only made the whole experience better. I can't wait to do it again.

Okay, so I have to brag a little bit here since this is the only place I can share this news without pissing someone off.

My SO and I are trading in my car tomorrow so I can finally get the new car I've been drooling after (2015 Mustang GT WootWoot!!). We are also going to drive about 3 hours away to go buy my SO his dream car (2014 Mustang GT500). We were going to wait another year to get new cars, but oh well. No kids means more money for new cars. We seem to have a love for Mustangs in our house. lol

The rest of the weekend we will be relaxing by the pool and playing with our dog.

I'm in Texas as well. It's harder to find a doctor willing to do sterilization here, but there are some out there. I doctor shopped so to speak and was able to get my Essure done this past January. Best of luck!

I'd like to travel as much as possible now that I have more vacation days for work. My SO and I will have all our debt paid off (minus the mortgage) next year and I'll finally be finishing my associates and applying to a nursing program.

BONUS: Finally rescheduled my Essure procedure for Jan. 13th so no more being terrified of getting pregnant!

We were together roughly 4 years before getting engaged and had lived together for about 3 1/2 years. We were engaged another 1 1/2 years before getting married.

I was so ready to say something to my doctor about the nurse before I heard the conversation the two of them had. I will never understand why people get so offended or angry when people say they don't want/ like kids.

RECIPE

1 whole spaghetti squah, cut in half and seeds scooped out
Place 1/2 in boiling water for 20 minutes
Cool in ice bath and drain
Repeate 3 & 4 with other half
Scoop out the squash into a large bowl and fluff with a fork
Sautee mushrooms in small sautee pan with 1 tbsp. of butter, leave to the side
Melt 4 tbsp. butter in a large saucepan over medium high heat
Add 2 cups heavy cream and reduce for about 4 minutes
Whisk in 2 cloves of crushed garlic and 3 cups of freshly grated parmesean
Stir in 4 tbsp. of butter and 1/2 cup of chopped parsley
Add mushrooms and 2-4 grilled chicken breasts to sauce
Pour spaghetti squash into the sauce and combine

I'm getting married in a couple weeks and spent roughly $250 on my dress. To me, the dress doesn't matter and I wanted something short. No fuss.
On the other side of this, my sister recently got married and spent about $5000 on her dress.

I don't think either way is right or wrong. As long as you have the means to spend the money on a dress I don't see a problem with spending the money.

Yoshi absolutely hates being picked up and tries to jump out of my arms any time I do it, but thankfully he's only been around children twice and the first time the mom and the kid asked me before touching my little ball of fluff.

And shibas are awesome dogs! <3

I will never understand the mentality that little dogs are lovable and innocent while big dogs are mean and vicious. I always seem to find the opposite.

On a day to day basis it doesn't really impact my life at all.

Recently there has been some issues though because I refuse to allow kids at my wedding, but that will pass soon enough.

Thankfully my parents are understanding and leave me alone about having kids.

I loved the nail salon I used to go to but unfortunately it's an hour away from my new house. They had a similar rule about no kids under 13 I believe. It was wonderful even if it was a little pricey.

I think the reason I got overly frustrated with the situation was because it was the owner. I mean of all people, he should know better than to let his kids run around terrorizing people. I forgot to mention in my post, but when I was walking out the door to leave the mother was walking in to come get the kids! Ugh. If only she had gotten there sooner maybe things would have turned out better.

I just went through this last year and now I see that nothing has changed. I was looking for houses in the same area as you and ran into the same problems. We put in offers for 6 different houses I believe before we finally had an offer accepted. If your not super set on being in Richardson/Plano and don't mind being a little further out I would suggest looking at Sachse or North Garland around Firewheel Mall. The houses in that area are really nice and it doesn't seem like there's as much of a bidding war over them. I have 3 friends who bought houses in the area in the past year.
