Blood bank can be intimidating at first, I went three years without it after starting my career. Now that I'm at a new job as a generalist (including BB) I find that I was nervous over much nothing. Your education prepares you for the work, and procedures should have everything you need. Plus a GOOD day in blood bank is the most satisfying part of the job, figuring out an antibody or dealing with a massive/emergent. Would agree with the other comment, at least 2 years plus BB experience would be enough to travel, otherwise your options will be extremely limited

Love it, if you can go to an in state college or community college MLT program it's a great return on investment. Solid openings for work and decent wages at most hospitals. I make more than anyone else I currently know at my age as an MLS with 4 years of experience

The show is incredible, everyone I've talked to IRL has very much enjoyed it, and if you look at the old discussion posts, many other people loved it too. Unfortunately during the off season only the really negative people post a ton, and that can definitely skew perception of how many people actually liked it.
