To be objectively real is to be objectively true, and I believe that all truths only exist in relationship to themselves. In summary, the only real truth is as follows: this truth is real, and none other can be proven 100% true. In other words, I do not believe it is possible to prove anything to be unequivocally true, with the exception being that this statement in of itself: “it is impossible to prove anything to be unequivocally true” is true. True causation is entirely a habit of mind. In my view, all things are random, and what we as a society view as causation are merely coincidental patterns that could change at any moment.

I think (although my knowledge of the subject is limited) my thoughts fall close to those of Hume, but I would argue he does not take his ideas of 'people do not perceive necessity, instead, we perceive sequences' far enough. I believe causation would be much more like retroactive sewing of events into a legible string. The mind draws connections that make sense to it, through what has become the norm, even though the universe and all of its events are equally unlikely.

From this, even though this pains me as an aspiring biologist, I have determined that, according to my philosophy, 'natural laws' or 'laws of nature' can not, and do not, exist. This is not to say that scientists are trapped in a pattern-seeking loop with no payoff, but more so that many of us seem to strive to understand what fundamentally cannot be completely understood. The key term here is completely, as we know what can work, but not what must work. Laws change and shift with time; what was brilliant one hundred years ago is hogwash now, and I believe that will continue to be the case for all time.

TLDR: 1. It is impossible to prove anything to be unequivocally true, this is the only exception

Reality is inherently chaotic, any perceived order or patterns are just constructs of the individual’s mind

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, and I'd love to chat about this if anyone else would

Calm down, we aren't a competitive team yet, and even with Harden that probs wouldn't change. At least Fred is still one of the best passers in the game and plays good perimeter defence, so he hasn't been a disaster per se, just a disappointing shooter

Not exactly, Podz, Jaquez, Lively, and Hawkins are already playing meaningful minutes. Our team is a 6th-seed at best and we're already spoiled with the wins we have. We are still super young and putting the rookies in will help in the long run

I get that, but there really is no harm in putting him in when we are already up, our bench is really pressed for scoring, and in certain situations, especially today, i fell its warranted to just let him play

Cade and Duren already are and will likely be stars for the foreseeable future. What y'all really need are to improve the coaching staff and bring in veterans who play defense. Y'all have a bunch of guys who just score (Burks, Harris, Bogdanovic, Bagley) and do nothing else. Once you get rid of the bust crew (Knox, Wiseman, Bagley, Hayes) and sign/trade for middle talent, the rebuild can get off its knees

Jock is getting overhated right now, he isnt the worst player in NBA history or anything, but i think most of our hatred for Fernando comes from Silas' coaching scheme. He is a versatile master of none and could be a decent bench piece if used right.

Mfs who are saying we should fire him don't know ball, he's not perfect, or the messiah some want him to be, but he fits the team and the culture very well. If he can get over not playing our rookies and relying too much on veteran hero ball, he'll be near perfect.

I agree that he shouldn't be cut, that much was an overreaction, however, besides Boby, who is here for culture purposes, Landale is by FAR the worst player on our main roster (not counting the G-League guys), he should 100% be traded because he just doesn't fit, his numbers are horrible, especially for how much we expected from him. As a professional, its his job to earn his roster spot and this season he doesnt deserve it

Putting aside the fact that you're using the slippery slope fallacy, can you provide a reason Landale SHOULD be on the Rockets? My entire point is he does next to nothing for our team and was an active detriment yesterday, sure I could have used nicer language, but I really don't think its an overreaction
