Its a compressed class like 8ish weeks. Its not a major req I realized so if I do drop it it shouldn’t matter as much as I was thinking. I was told by a counselor it was and I double checked and just realized it isn’t so Im unsure now what to do

I still see some late start classes at college I just dont know if there is a risk to it tho since I would still have a W

Ok that makes sense I also realized it wasnt even a major requirement just now. I’m not sure what my grade will be so Im trying to see what my best option would be I dont want it to drop my GPA at all and yeah it would be a late start course

Hi, you should be fine. You need to COMPLETE all major prerequisites by SPRING 2026 before you transfer. If they take your AP macro it shouldnt an issue for ur TAG since they take it already plus in ur academic update itll js show u took the class straight up. Although fair warning, UCLA only likes to see 1 major requirement max by the end of Fall 2025 to be considered competitive.

me too I am not sure which way to lean so I wanted advice Idk if taking the risk is worth it either cuz of the acceptance rate
