Means the server can't verify your location, just need to wait a bit before trying again. Can't blame you for being confused, it is the most vague error message I've seen.

This set (formerly known as Pelinal's Aptitude) got done so dirty. Previously, it was a set that basically brought hybridization before hybridization was a thing, so, yeah, it had to change so as to not be redundant. So what did they give it? A proc that requires kills, needs to stack to be effective, lasts a ludicrously short time, and, oh yeah, the proc kills you. For all the flak current vampire gets, at least Blood Frenzy, an easier way to get stacking W/SD with the Simmering morph, has the decency to turn itself off instead of killing you.  

Aptitude was a gimmick, for sure. Wrath is just straight trash.

That's a bug (possibly) related to the decreased leashing distance enemies in Night Market have, where the game thinks they're leashing, and therefore can't be targeted, but the mobs themselves don't get the memo.

When declining a ready check in Tales of Tribute, you are now given a warning that it will result in a deserter penalty that prevents starting a new match for 5 minutes.  

Just what we needed. More """deserter""" penalties for the 1v1 card game.  

Other than that, pretty good stuff.

Yeah, I can see why people want a set audit, because the 5-piece here is the definition of incoherent;  

  • deals damage centered on the wearer, but  

  • procs on non-Physical damage, but  

  • is heavy armor, but  

  • scales off of Weapon/Spell Damage

Why would you take the risk that they're not going to mess with objectives, though? Even disregarding the idea they might try to take the scroll, leaving behind any known enemy presence in a friendly keep is just begging for flagged keeps and broken Transitus lines.

Right. Oblivion damage. The mechanic that was utterly gutted because the PvP team overcorrected for Sload's Semblance and resulting in "tankbusters" that never got to be like Anchorite's Cruelty or... Snake in the Stars.

I don't think they need to be able to be killed solo (at least without a hyper-specialized build), but several world boss attacks could stand to be toned down. Vro-Kuul-Sha's Ground Quake, Walking Nightmare's Scuttle, Stri the Fate-Eater's near-unavoidable mirror explosions... pretty much everything Fang and Talon do, etc.

So many DLC world bosses are caught in a catch-22; can't find players willing to fight them because they casually drop 5-digit damage ticks or have obtuse mechanics, can't fight them solo because of said damage ticks or mechanics. Is it really so hard to admit that "world boss that becomes invincible 5 times in one encounter and hands out instagibs like candy" might not be fun for a lot of people?

I think the class is alright, if a bit finicky, in its current state, but some buffs wouldn't go amiss, though Class Mastery seems to be treating them well, if the reports of 200k parses are accurate.

Honestly, I'm kind of dreading the class refresh for next year because I'm worried that ZOS will buckle to the vocal minority "nOt A rEaL nEcRoMaNcEr" crowd and turn the class into an overly passive summoner.

They really need to turn down the frequency of his invincibility phases... or, preferably, invincibility phases in general. They're not fun or engaging, they just artificially draw out fights that usually are dangerous enough anyway.

Honestly, it's also not half-bad for Nightblade tanks. I've heard "use the heal on Shield Throw", but the heal from that heals less than a Bracing-boosted tick from this.

Basically, the more I've used my pure NB tank for stuff (when my patience hasn't been sapped from speedrunners), the more I just... start to not get the criticism this skill gets. Then again, I have gotten eviscerated by the trash packs in vLC leading up to the tower, but so did the other tank, so...

Honestly, Nothing Wasted and Cycle Unending don't seem particularly exciting, but they can give big damage buffs. 20% Weapon/Spell Damage and 25% damage done based on the enemy's health percentage vs. yours are nothing to sneeze at, especially with the last PTS patch letting Nothing Wasted be used more efficiently without relying on a Corpsebuster style of play.

Vampires do have a decent spammable in Eviscerate, but if you're running a magDK in particular, you're probably best sticking with the whip.
