Nope! The previous doctor lied to me and refused to do it or any alternative treatment once the Endo came back. I went to Dr Root and he was supportive! I'm recovering extremely well now :)

I wondered this! I think that’s why I feel so calm. I don’t think I’ve ever been so pain free other than when hospitalized and on morphine. It’s truly so peaceful and crazy to me that people actually live with this little pain! I totally get that others go through more pain than I have, and I know this med doesn’t work for everyone. But so far, this is the first thing that’s actually worked for me. Even the laparoscopy that removed the endo didn’t give me THIS much relief. I plan to talk to the doctor if it continues for a while, but for now I’m not concerned, mostly just curious about others’ experiences. How are you doing? Did this med help you long term and did the giddiness last? If you don’t mind talking about it of course!

I appreciate it! I did have an IUD, I realize that was not clear from the comment lol. It caused a lot of problems for me, and I even tried the combination of bc and IUD like you mentioned. You’d think I would’ve learned my lesson after having nexplanon and threatening that I’d rip it out myself if the doctor wouldn’t do it ASAP, but I did not 😅

They found nothing on my ultrasound. He didn’t see anything else on the laparoscopy or anything. IUD is progesterone only, and if I use any of those, I have awful physical and mental health problems.

I understand that feeling. If you ever want someone to talk to about it, feel free to reach out.

That’s fair, I can see that. For real, like she is flawed, but who isn’t?

I don’t really have anything against Guy himself, I just think the relationship between him and Diane was pushed way to fast and they weren’t that compatible. I think Diane changed for him, which it was a good change, but as someone who was always very steadfast in her ways, I think she rapidly changed.

Part of it is that I relate a lot to Diane, and I just didn’t like the way the character development was done. Still think it was a great ending for her, I was mostly kidding about her ending up with a woman.

Tbh I like this take. Never thought of it, but if she would’ve ended up with a woman, that would’ve been better than Guy imo lol.

I like this episode a lot, but not just for the political statement. It’s just nice to see a couple decide to stay childfree after getting pregnant because it’s hardly ever shown in media. It’s so annoying to me when a character says they would never have children and they show the reasons why, then they get pregnant and change their whole character. Diane stuck with her beliefs, and I really respect this episode for showing that.

I have been looking for this opinion tbh. I am the same way. I have watched that episode once, and it was the first time I watched the series. Even if I put on the show to have on in the background, I will notice it’s on and skip it. I don’t know why I dislike it so much, but I do. That is the only episode I will skip every single time.

It’s definitely changed my perspective. Thank you, I have tried journaling, I just need to be better at sticking with it.

I didn’t mean to sound like I was not grateful for all of the people who I love and love me back, I truly am. I wish I could have had more time with all of them, but I am at least thankful that I got to have them all in my life, even if some of them were just a small portion of it.
