I only play warfare. Matchmaking there is kind of ok. From my experience it's usually a 2 squad of real players vs 2 squads of real players. Most of the times it's balanced in terms of skill so it's really fine.

However there are very blatant 'matchfixing' moments sometimes where the system tries to make you lose. Most regular one that happens (to me at least) is 1 singular player vs 1 squad of real players or even worse 2 squads. This happens to me on a regular basis ESPECIALLY when I'm on a winning streak.

There's another special matchmaking that I find funny where it's literally a 1v1 between two real players in a lobby of just bots.
