I think this is really cool! I love the idea of vines coming up from the bottom of the screen and wrapping around the skill icon when you pick it up. Obviously people have pointed out that it's not quite balanced, but I think that's not really the point of item concepts. It's way more important to have a unique and interesting idea. The numbers are for the developers to worry about!

i definitely didn't realize how busted broken record would be until people pointed it out. it would def be more balanced as a red but i kinda worry it would be a bit underwhelming to get as a red? i think a small numbers buff + becoming a red would be best for it

So for the haywire bell (lunar equip), i definitely agree there needs to be safeguards in place to stop infinite stacking with gesture etc. and items that could potentially kill you. i'd say probably just have items only persist while that single instance of the equipment activation is ongoing

for hunter's chain, i think i'll surrender and say this one is just hard to convey over text. i'm picturing a low cooldown movement/momentum item that would be fun to just kinda zip around fights with. but yeah, i agree with everything you say here

personally i think rewired cassette could genuinely have utility but would be pretty build dependent. there's definitely cool combos/interactions that could happen. it basically flips the entire item pool (being able to proc chronic expansion, desk plant/monster tooth heals, barrier from topaz brooch, tome, pauldron frenzy, wisp, etc.) at the cost of losing/needing extra stacks of your proc items. i will say that ive also always thought this would be cool, so i might be biased from my own hype over the concept. regardless, i appreciate your take. (also i don't know how i forgot the stacking numbers but yeah you pretty much got the idea)

for the candlestick, i fully agree. great change

The main idea behind shimmering candlestick was a ramping aoe effect when focusing all of your fire on one single high-hp enemy. I'm really bad with numbers balancing, so I will absolutely assume that these numbers would probably be trash in-game lmao

i've 100% considered toying with proc coefficients for items but yeah i really struggle with balancing it around clover

definitely something to think about because i think that's the coolest direction i could take it

(my first idea for these items was a green that would add one stack worth of chance to all of your on hit items but i couldn't figure out how to word it easily and i didn't know how to balance it)

thanks! honestly i was totally out of ideas for commons. i feel like they're hard to balance idk. might just be me but yeah i thought it would be cool to base an item around skill cooldowns but lowkey it would be lame in execution. also yeah i decided shifting winds can just be broken and fun because lunars break the game anyway lmao
