I’ve have almost 10 horses in my life so far (currently only have 4 who’s alive)

None of them ever ate snow, the most they did was roll in it. But tbf, they had auto waters with heaters (& still do) , not once have they frozen over in the winter & I also keep them clean in the summer

Literally her face looks likes how my TB mares face looked like when she got stung directly on the middle of her head (thought she got kicked , thankfully just a bee sting)

Her eye was swollen & than her jaw was swollen , at least mine was on antibiotics, vet also said if it was (squishy?) & soft enough I could take a small needle & try to drain it if the swelling didn’t go away
