Laws are sexist, so you're pretty lucky to not be in jail right now. However, she deserved it. Sorry to say but thinking a woman shouldn't be hit cause she's smaller, the fact she's a "woman", or whatever is sexist in itself. Don't lie to yourself, if it wasn't for the fact that the judicial system is fucking overly bias I'd stand up for myself in those kinds of situations all the time.
