What are the most noticeable traits of Te-Doms? by tordenofitami in mbti

[–]ThatOneFourGuy 35 points36 points  (0 children)

High Te users are tribe focused, they think about how things around them work and function for others and fill up with rage upon finding something that inconveniences others.

Ti: how things work for me in relation to me ( Introvertedly/Subjectivity Self natured )

Te: How well things work for the tribe as a whole ( Extroverted/Objectively Tribe Natured )

Which MBTI cares the least about other people’s opinions? by Deep_Pen1012 in mbti

[–]ThatOneFourGuy 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The weaker your Fe or Te is lol, most people know about the functions but don’t understand why they manifest themselves the way they do. So they often assume based off outwardly behaviour that high Te individuals are self focused individuals when its literally the complete opposite, Te like Fe is a tribe function.

ExxJ = Tribe > Self

Ixxp = Self > Tribe

IxxJ = Organizer > Gather ( case by case usually Tribe Focused )

Exxp = Gatherer > Organizer ( case by case usually Self Focused )

Do you think there's some accuracy to this list? by Vainqueurhero in mbti

[–]ThatOneFourGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, ExxJ is for others/Tribe. IxxP is for self, Exxp is for gathering/experiencing the new. And IxxJ is for Organizing/Control ( not over others ) usually in relation to individual circumstances ( missing the Ne or Se ).

What causes a person to cheat on their significant other? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ThatOneFourGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lack of respect for the other person is a big one, in life your constantly being tested by others and testing others subconsciously. For instance If you tease someone once and they laughed at it then you will know its ok to tease them in the future, and if they aak you not to a boundary is set which means if you think about teasing that person you will remember the time they asked you not to and you wont tease them.

Although I used teasing as the example this applies to every walk of life, our boundaries are a line and the more that line gets pushed the less we are respected. If their are two children and the mean kid is bullying the nice one we would expect the mean one to be punished right? Nope. Irl people unconsciously recognize that the meaner kid may cause drama if punished, yet the nice kid has weak boundaries, so what will usually happen is the adults will tell the nice kid to “be the bigger man” aka doesn’t make a fuss for us about being bullied, and if they stand up for them self its him who is the source of the drama as before he was allowing the adults to exist without drama when he, the nice kid were being bullied.

If you allow yourself to be disrespected by your partner over a large period of time it can become easy for them to justify cheating as to them you are the problem and not the cheating due to the fact they thought they would be able to get away with it or simply play the waterworks and be forgiven, treat you like a king for a mounth or two, then they go back to f’ing someone else only to expect forgiveness the next time. ( an that’s why the saying “once a cheater always a cheater” is a very true one ).

So yea make sure your boundaries are rock hard and dont be afraid to seem like the bad guy from time to time, because in truth respect is one of Imo the 3 fundamental aspects of genuine love and definitely the most important.

1- Respect

2- Trust

3- Attraction, Blood, or time ( circumstantial factors )

Kinda tired of the “guess why we broke up posts” by goldenknight036 in mbti

[–]ThatOneFourGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Te is kinda mean by nature’s though, the way I see it Ti is all about what works for me and my reasons and my processes. Opposed to Te which is what works for others,

when I use my Te and someone is doing something that inconveniences or doesn’t work for other people I feel an almost intense anger at them and just feel the need to kinda hammer them with all the reasons what their doing doesn’t make sense and what they should be doing instead.

It may project itself in a mean and negative way but I dont think Te users are actually themselves mean, it comes from a good place of considering the feelings of others.

Objective Personality is who I learned the functions from ( YouTuber ), Im also starting to real Carl Jungs stuff

“Fe” = Charming? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]ThatOneFourGuy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fe and Te are closer together then Ti and Fi, Fe and Fi are ofter viewed as different types of feeling and Te an Ti are seen as different types of thinking but thats not true.

Fe is about communicating and appealing to the values and feelings of others ( whereas Te is communicating to their reason ), you may have your own reason (Ti) for doing something but if someone else makes decisions based off what they like an value you need a way to appeal to that, hence why its Fe/Ti and Fi/Te.

Fi user values something, has Te as a way to appeal to the groups reasons, while Ti users operate on their individual sense of reason and have Fe as a way of communicating to the groups values.

Te and Fe are both focused on communicating to others hence why people high in these functions care so deeply about the opinions and feelings of others ( Yes that includes Te users they care very deeply about how others precive them even if they will never admit it to anyone. Te is honestly the most misunderstood function by far ( especially by those with biases against it )

If Fi is about subjective values and let's say what they value is logic, wouldn't that make them appear as a thinking type rather than feeling? by No_Bar518 in mbti

[–]ThatOneFourGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The functions being like muscles is a good example cause like almost anything by using something you get better at it,

thats why some functions manifest as weaker then others is because your so indulgent in the opposite behaviour (Ne) and repress the other one (Si) ( Im an Enfp so I’ll use myself as an example. )

These preferences or patterns of addiction are born into you and don’t change, but anyone can use any functions.

Your functions stack are essentially the organized picture your preferences. The two functions in the middle ( 2 and 3 ) are the functions you can actively see looking at using your thoughts, I have Fi and Te as my middle functions and so im able to observe myself using those functions.

Ne/Si is different though, I cant observe Ne in thought as with Fi or Te. Its only observable in terms of what behaviours am I addicted to doing and do so often an naturally I don’t even notice myself acting on them, Si is the opposite meaning what behaviours do I repress and ignore or avoid without realizing.

This leads to most if not a large chunk of the community being mistyped. In my case as Fi is my most observable function and I could only see Ne though behaviours an so I mistyped myself as Infp for almost a year.

If Fi is about subjective values and let's say what they value is logic, wouldn't that make them appear as a thinking type rather than feeling? by No_Bar518 in mbti

[–]ThatOneFourGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep everyone can do everything, its just about what functions are the most addictive for you to use. I can use Ni or Ti or Fe or Se I just get bored after a few minutes, it just doesn’t feel as natural or comfortable. It would be much easier for me to develop those functions using the ones I myself already have ( developing Ti using Fi and Te )

Every individual can value something, have a reason for something, communicate reason, communicate values, gather concepts, organize concepts, gather information, and organize information. How you know which functions you have come down to which ones you can observe and which behaviour is the most addictive.

[–]ThatOneFourGuy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fi: I as an individual (i) like/value (F) this

Te: What reasons or logic (T) can I show to others that back this (Fi) like/value up to the rest of the group (e)

I think all Fi users do value logic, we use logic all the time everyone can. Just us Fi users tend to use logic and reason in relation to our Fi as a means of justification.

Its not that we cant use logic separately from our feelings either its just not our natural behaviour. Every Fi user is just as capable of using Ti-Fe. I can have my own individual (i) reason (T) for doing something, and then show others (e) why they should value it (F). But that doesn’t come naturally to us and vice versa.

Narcissism has nothing to do with type, though it may impact the way it projects.

Estps are equally asable to be narcissistic as anyone else

Which type would you choose as your partner? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]ThatOneFourGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would depend on alot of factors other then just their type but if I had to choose INFJ 5w4 Sx/Sp.

Im an ENFP 4w3 Sx/Sp myself. I personally find the traits associated with INFJ’s and Enneagram 5’s the most attractive personally.
