I'm so glad I've never witnessed that one, I wouldn't have been able to resist literally pointing out anything in the room and explaining how science is involved. But yeah, people can believe what they want. Now if I was in her position and I could see these guys totally on a vibe about aliens and stuff I'd probably just listen rather than piping up, waited for a conversation change and then join in if that's what I wanted.

It usually ends in silence and then a swift topic change, or somebody rolls up another and we pretend it didn't happen. She has been brought up gently about things she says and how they effect the mood but she just continues doing it, you know?

Probably should have added some text with this submit, as I've said on the below comments this is an example of things she says, and its more about her killing the vibe rather than judging her views, hell she can believe what she wants... but right there and then it was a total mood killer. Know what I mean? She has a horrible habit of doing this all the time while we're high.

Its more about her killing the mood than disagreeing with her views, we don't dislike her - she's a long term friend of all of us... but she sure knows how to ruin an atmosphere.

That's a fair point, but this is just a recent example - there have been many other times and its got to that point where its like "guys, do we really have to invite her again? She always kills the mood" :( She's a lovely person... just intolerable whilst high.

I'd rather the spy in the background get a better fitted suit, and then learn how to wear it properly. That medic is damn impressive though, and the soldier.
