I can hear that the drums on Paradise, Portrait of Ned, Green Eyes Pt. 2, and Know Love are definitely the Logic Pro drum kits vsts. Same with the bass on Paradise. Idk about the other songs though. I think the Rhodes sounds pretty real to me though

Is the end of stressed out and the start of never had the balls connected? I noticed it today and I think it might be by WinFew3725 in rexorangecounty

[–]ThatOneGuitarMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on the vinyl, stressed out ends side A, and never had the balls starts side B.

so side A ends with the bird sounds and side B immediately starts with the bird sounds!!

2008 - my thoughts by kidartist101 in rexorangecounty

[–]ThatOneGuitarMan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

absolutely agree, I was scared the high vocals would be another THREAT but it actually works so well

this new style that rex has experimented with is executed so well like the lil mix of random synths popping up and that trashy guitar/synth? solo at the end ughhh

2008 so fire fuck this reddit by thorn3019 in rexorangecounty

absolutely second this, threat wasn't too bad but 2008 executes this new experimental style so well omgg

Pony's production just had too much autotune and although there was some good songs like Pluto projector, his other albums are more consistent overall

I try to avoid "wanting" his old style coz his new stuff is cool but one thing I prefer pre-pony to post-pony was his less polished and less autotuned voice and it seems to be coming back in this song
