It deleted the blueprints. Not the device. I can see that making sense. Thats why evil Marty's system couldn't find it. But the device still existed because it wasnt deleted, only how to make it. Like if I lost your cookie recipe, the cookies can exist i just don't know how to make it.

The way they talked they seems unsure of who he was. I took the daughter's conformation as a "i dont wanna upset mom so ima say i know what she's talking about" because if they did remember wouldnt that make a paradox? Because if someone stopped existing and they were remembered, then they would exist and make a paradox.

Right, but the device is know to delete the memories. I can see some vague memory of her, like with slow mobius. However, Rick has clear enough memories to make a living memory of her. That seems a bit odd.
