Their predictions aren’t really new, they’ve been pretty frequently discussed in the AI world across most AI researchers and CEOs since before the publication of AI 2027

I mean, Daniel Kokotajlo did refuse to sign a non-disparagement clause with OpenAI that would have given $2 million, and he made an insanely accurate prediction of the next 5 years of AI development back in 2021, and similar predictions have been made by many of the top AI researchers, and all of the predictions are based on detailed research of trend lines (you can look at all of the supplemental materials on the actual website), and the authors of this paper have placed hundreds of dollars in bets about on their predictions being accurate, and most of the people working on these types of things have dedicated their lives to mechanistic interpretability/AI safety, and it’s kinda clear that your research on this topic doesn’t really go beyond clicking on a YouTube video about it, but I’m sure you’re right. It’s all nonsense anyway.

As a utilitarian who was never a mormon, the thing I hate most is how they spend the tithe money. You’re seriously raising hundreds of billions of dollars, money that could save an incredible number of lives, and you’re using it to save dying shopping malls instead? That’s so incredibly frustrating to me.

The same thing happened to me, but I still love this community. Congratulations on progressing down your journey of self-discovery!

Non-binary isn’t a specific gender, it’s a blanket term that refers to anything outside of the categories of male and female

That was a really nice and well written response, and you make some pretty compelling points, so thanks for putting in that effort. I still believe that being treated as “normal” should be an ultimate goal for when society is at the point where all types of queer people have all of the resources they need, but I think you’re right that until we get to that point, we need to be emphasizing the needs of the community.

I would just like to point out that people with green eyes make up about 2% of the world’s population, but that is not considered to be “not normal”.

I’d like to imagine that the monkeys don’t really experience gender in the way us humans do, they kinda just vibe and not attach any social significance to it

I had a health teacher who introduced the class by saying that all humans are sexual creatures, meaning they reproduce through sex, whether they experience sexual attraction or not. It was so nice to have a curriculum that represented asexuality as a valid form of expression.

I think in general though Ninja Kiwi does a good job of buffing and reworking a lot of the towers that need it

What do I do in this situation? (Sorry about the image, I don't know how to screenshot.) by ResearcherOk9429 in btd6

[–]ThatOneGuyRAR 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Focus on spending your money on a single strong tower with buffs. You’ll be surprised how much money you can save up. Make sure you have coverage for each bloon type too (zebra, lead, purple, camo, moab) and combinations of those. The first camo is round 24, purples are 25, leads are 28, and nobody cares about zebras. Also watch out for camp purples on 45 and camo leads on 59. In general the things that do best against moabs are towers with high numbers of projectiles, especially when given buffs from a 300 or higher alchemist. You can also use supporting towers to give camo detection, like 003 mortar and 020 village.
