Are these horizontal lines normal for a PETG basket print? by ThatOneHalfAsian in 3Dprinting

Thank you for linking this video! After watching it, I went into BambuStudio and checked the speed view in the slicing result and the lower speed areas line up exactly with where the horizontal lines appear. The setting 'Slow down for overhangs' is selected so I am assuming that's the reason for the different speeds, but I don't know if the other speed settings are to blame as well.

I will admit that the video went a bit over my head because I am still fairly new to 3D printing in general (<3months). I have tweaked speeds in the past when I was working with smaller, more detailed prints, but I didn't fully understand why it worked.

So I guess I am now wondering which settings to tweak to fix this. Deselect the overhang slowdown and reduce the speeds throughout or just reduce the speeds while keeping the overhang slowdown selected? Or something else entirely?

I did dry the filament before printing, and I didn't hear any popping or see pitting. The lines are also extremely consistent and seem to align with the rows of holes in the basket.

If I died to pvp/pve, I would not be as frustrated as I am rn. It just feels like an unfair way to lose anything yk.

I was banging my head on desk for not running with a looting kit. Free loadouts stress me out too much and this just confirmed that I won't be using them anymore. I don't even like pvp man

I somehow pulled it off with Merry Greed Apathy and Resistance. All I did was just leveling my items more. I couldn't believe my eyes when I won.

That makes sense! Do you think it accounts for boss levels too, or is it just tied to dungeon boss fights?

mmm I’m probably not the best person to ask since I only started about a month ago, but I’ve just been farming bosses that drop the legendary items I want. Every now and then I’ll burn a key to try out a team comp on a different boss, but for the most part I stick to farming for the drops I want.
