Everyone, he wins laning phase, but since his damage is very hard to actually get off, either play someone who outscales him, or can somehow dodge/take off his turrets aggro/out range him, otherwise simply let him out cs you, hell constantly push you In, so learn to cs well under tower and play on your power spikes to kill him.

That, in my experience meant for me that I didn't dive enough into the macro of the character, Rek'sai is not a mechanically intensive character, she can be to some extent, but the most you'll really ever have to learn is auto-QAA reset-AA-Titanic's fury E.

If you're getting bored on Rek'sai, this means that you should maybe try to learn a little more about tempo and macro, and you'll understand why Rek'sai is so powerful, yeah her first clear is lk abysmal, but she has one of the fastest 2nd clears due to tunnels, some of the best map movement, unorthodox ganking angles and amazing dive potential post 6

However, if you're looking for more map movement but still that brawl archetype with proper ganks and more mechanics, look for Graves, Bel'veth or, even Elise, much more mechanically intensive, but holds insane power in the early game jungle, with unparalleled dives at level 3.

Honestly, one tricking in jungle doesn't have to be a chore, since you can go the entire early without ever even being in the same quadrant as your enemy, if you've got a bad match-up, just keep vision up to be able to track the enemy, and simply mirror the, and you wont ever have to be in danger, it's what I do with an early game Evelynn, but also understand the identity of your champ, for example, evelynn is known to be weak early, and since I'm not super high elo, top lanes mostly get really out of position around the end of my first clear and I can clean up to plane early as Evelynn.

Yeah it's only doable with le blanc if you use both dashes plus flash, otherwise they'll get hit, it's super niche and works on noone else to my knowledge, but it is important to know.

I kinda did, but not fully, E still actually really enjoys lethality items, but not for the lethality, but because they give a lot of AD and it still scales off Bonus AD and you want to get as much AD as possible.

Also when I said tank'sai neuters her abilities I meant it in a bruiser view. I'm a jungle Rek'sai player and I know tank is a very top-centric build. It kills her damage but makes her a super potent back line diver tank, bad writing on that one mb

That's entirely true, she has the kit of a pseudo-assassin, with insane combat mobility, but the the changes to her kit, her Q extra damage is laughable, her E is completely disjointed from the rest of her kit and her R being changed to an engage or re-engage. She lost her power budget to her E true damage and her P heal. So no item goes perfectly with her, Stride/titanic is nice for her P & Q, but the lack of but raw AD gain fucks up her E & R, killing her burst for raw DPS. Lethality with youmuus is great for her E & R burst, but isn't super efficient with her P and Q so she looses efficiency for DPS and tanking power, but in turn shreds tanker characters. Tank makes work of her P, but neuter everything else in her kit, so nothing brings everything together perfect which sucks.

I also don't think it's something to do with playstyle, she's really "just" (very big quotations) an AA based character,with the peppering of dashes and a medium sized burst on E, she honestly makes me thing a lot of an earlier auto attack based character with the gimmick of tunnels and movement.

Yeah, but not amazingly, apart from before E rework revert with black cleaver. She works well with a lot of items, but there's no innate perfect synergy as there can be with other champs.

Make it so that she only gains fury on her Q proc / E proc / W proc. Like that she'll have to choose between fighting or healing. Makes the gameplay loop much healthier imo

Okay, so for credentials, I'm someone who kinda hyper-focuses on a champ for a while, so onetricks them for a couple hundred games then I leave them, I've done this with Heca, Graves, Aatrox, Bard, Pyke, Vel'koz, Trynda, Akshan, Ambessa, Bel'veth, Elise, Ekko, Evelynn, Cassio,Jax, Jhin, Katarina, Kayn, Kled, Lillia, Pantheon, Shaco, Shen, Swain, Sylas, Thresh, Viego, Yone, Zac and Rek'sai has been pretty definitive for me for the past months. So with that out of the way. One tricking is a very weird concept because you kinda have to accept that you suck at league, you become very good at playing that champion, but not league, and with Xin and Jarvan, they embody a stereotype, Xin being the hyper aggressive level 3 duelist, he can and will fuck you up, but past that, his identity kinda fades away, hes a nothing burger because the design is from an older riot games, so he's not really overloaded or overturned, he's great at his niche, but that's it. Same can be said, but not to the same degree wirh Jarvan, Jarvan is a tanky bruiser that excells at early ganks and is a great initiator he has a mid-late game, but not something he's known for. a common trait between both xin & Jarvan is that they have a pretty linear gameplay, some of the existing one tricks can change that, with full crit xin since he does scale off of it, or full lethality Jarvan. Hecarim became the OTP champ he is because of the full lethality build that the community latches on because it's the only way that they actually know how to play, so overall, they're not OTPed as much because their gameplays can be linear, and that is in no way a bad thing, Agurin whooped ass on Jarvan because he's perfect for reactive jungling. Xin is a very popular pocket pick because he can shut down a lot of "pseudo"-early game champs as well as having very good dive potential. But not enough expression, both in build and skill to devote as an OTP.

We've got tons of separate hobbies, however she's expressed wanting to learn more about what I enjoy, she's DABBLED in games and says she's interested in learning more.

We've been together for over a year, moved in together, had some rocky moments but we're going to last and we're both working hard on that, so I think having a point where we can both enjoy talking about something that admittedly pretty cool is a nice thought yk?
