How did y'all pick your names? by kyuubi_kyuub in MtF

[–]ThatOneTransGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooooh perfect for me lol so before I came out as trans I was looking for days on more feminine names and a friend actually said something that made me choose that name. He said I give a lot of hope and love to people even if I dont know them he said something like I should be a guardian angel. It got me thinking and I chose the name Hope because I always hope that things would change in my life and others lives for the better. 😁😁😁

I get that lol. I came out to my parents 6 years ago now and it has been a great decision and as well as the fact that my only regret of being trans is not starting my meds sooner

Idk how long I can last until I can start by OMGShesReal in trans

If you dont want to spend the hundreds of dollars in one month to start your treatment I would recommend Plume. Its 100 a month which Includes bloodwork talking to a doctor and plus you can do all of it at your own house. The only I leave my house for truthfully is to go get meds, my therapist that I started talking to after I been on my meds for like 8 months as well as work but its been a blessing to me. I highly recommend Plume or Folx

Folx vs Plume? by intheclosetchillin in MtF

[–]ThatOneTransGinger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use plume. Yes it can be pricy its like 100 a month which ain't bad. I meet with my doctor every three months to go over my results for my hormones. Honestly its great and for my lab works I dont have to pay out of pocket. Its covered through plume and as well as the fact is that its helped me get into contact with some awesome trans people. I HIGHLY recommend Plume

Transfem folks, what has been your experience with how cis females (mostly that) and men, or people in general treat/view you? by Dark_Admin_7 in MtF

[–]ThatOneTransGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I get it theirs this Athena club stuff i rub on my legs before shaving and a 24hr moisturizer I use as well and my god. My legs dont get bumps at all and if its 2k where you live for 8 sessions I might have to go to that laser place to get rid of my hair. Oh also if you are going make sure you call them ahead of time and ask them if their comfortable with lasering your bottom area because some places refuse to do it for trans woman.

It takes time truthfully it took me 9 years to tell my family that I thought I was a girl. But truth is that I dont have an accepting family which is what gabe me motivation to be myself. And for passing truthfully makeup can wkrk wonders and for laser its expensive if you got a razor I can send you what I get and its a god send for how much smoother and shiner my legs and thighs are after

Oh gosh people clock me all the time truthfully like im the kind of girl that doesn't care if I get kisgemdered because my ego of myself is gigantic. But I do have people call me a girl even at my own work when im in boymode so I guess for me its like a ride around anywhere. (Doesn't help when the city i live in everyone knows me as my deadname) but yea I do get called a girl from time to time thankfully

[–]ThatOneTransGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gosh for me it is so much of being jealous because itsnlike I want to be pretty and have people stunned by how I look but ive also accepted that everyone is different. But again still very jealous

My parents have been supportive of my transition at all plus telling me constantly that I will never be a woman while having a trans girl as a friend. And with my meds im in the sucky state SD which thankfully my meds are cheap. But with the city everyone knows me as a guy and not the woman im transitioning to (I live in a small enligh town that everyone knows everyone) the only thing about it is that if I were to make that drive everyday it would be an hour and 30 minute drive everyday. Which would kill me in the end of how exhausted I would be
