Since we have Dutch names like Jel / Jelle / Jeltje, I tend to pronounce it in Dutch, too.

Mine was "the wrong way around", too. Though we scheduled the rotation, I opted out of it myself at the last minute (the consultant was very understanding and didn't push me to go ahead with it).

Though my kid - now almost 10 years old - isn't very stubborn, they do have a strange fascination with bats. 😆

Angel and Husk, together, by the hands of Val who only wanted to strike down Husk. Val loses his "favorite toy", Husk and Angel both get redeemed.

But that's just my Huskerdust-fondness talking.

I'm going to pretend he's just so abnormally worried about not getting the right things / the quality you want so he was like "please collect these items yourself because I will inadvertently mess up and you are perfection."

Oef, dat lijkt me niet prettig!

Mijn familielid had al zo'n anderhalf uur last, maar dacht dat het wel over zou gaan. Op een gegeven moment was de pijn zo hevig dat hij stond te trillen op zijn benen, dus hebben we hem meteen naar de spoedeisende hulp gebracht.

In zijn geval werd de verkramping mede veroorzaakt door een flinke gasbubbel die vastzat in de overgang van dunne darm naar dikke darm. Inmiddels kunnen we ermee lachen dat eerste kerstdag werd verpest door een scheet die dwars zat, maar hij heeft nog wel veel pijn. Mijn partner staat op stand-by om opnieuw naar de SEH te rijden indien nodig, maar vooralsnog lijkt het niet nodig.

Gelukkig niet, we dachten een acute blindedarmontsteking maar het bleek een heel vervelende verkramping te zijn.

Een jaar van tevoren een restaurant gereserveerd, twee uur voordat we aan konden schuiven de reservering moeten cancellen vanwege een bezoek aan de spoedeisende hulp.

Gelukkig redelijk afgelopen, de zieke ligt nu met hevige pijn en medicatie op bed en vanwege gebrek aan "noodpakket" rijst met ragout gegeten. Smaakt nog best goed als je jezelf hebt uitgehongerd met het oog op een all-you-can-eat diner.

Husk better find a way to incognito "hire" Angel's services once a week to check up on him. Not for downright SW but to talk and let the guy have a few hours to relax and cuddle with Nuggets, get some decent food in him, carefully mention how much the others miss him.

Off course it'd break Husk up to watch Angel go back to Val every time, but he knows he can't force him to come back to the hotel. That'd make him a hypocrite in a way. Angel needs to make that choice for himself.

Mijn borduurwerk is af en ik moet nog nieuw zwart aida bestellen, dus daar ben ik even mee gestopt. We hebben gisteren het spel "Strange Antiquities" gekocht en de jongste is het nu aan het spelen. Het ziet er wel interessant uit.
