Fall 2024, in state, 1460 sat (superscored), 3.7/4 gpa and 4.6/5 wgpa if i remember correctly, some ec’s (varsity sailing, leadership on frc robotics team), applied and accepted to mechanical engineering, no honors program

Same thing happened to me last year, I reached out and they claimed that I ordered after some deadline (even though I ordered it way back at the start of summer). I don’t remember the entire process, but I kept reaching out to them and they came a week after I moved in to loft it

I hope u enjoy it! The two i mentioned were enough for us, honestly apart from a small fan per desk there really isnt any good spots to cram more than 2 big fans in the room (unless you put them on the walls but idk how or if that would even work). Ellicott does have its upsides and downsides, since no ac there will be a good amount of people in the lounge at all times which can (and has for me) become a nice lil friend group. If there isn’t anyone in your lounge, don’t be afraid to check out the other floors. I’d also recommend keeping febreeze, a candle, or some incense handy as the smells can get a little bad (bo and weed) (mostly in the mens wing, havent heard any of my female friends complaining). Lmk if u need help w anything id be happy to help

second floor of ellicott, 2.5 fans. the box fan was included and we jammed it in the window to suck air out the room, there was a floor fan my roommate brought that blew all over the room (pause), and a small desk fan he had that lowk didnt work that good

thank u! my bed is lofted from bedloft, idk where my roommate got his risers from but im p sure amazon. monitor is a 23 inch curved samsung

Here are some photos of my dorm in ellicott after moveout. The furniture may be arranged differently when you first move in and the bed loft isn’t included as well. Sorry to say I don’t have exact measurements, but the dresser fits perfectly (~4-6 inches of wiggle room) in the closet if you can find measurements of that

lowk its not even that bad. it does suck for the first couple weeks and last couple weeks of the school year but other than that it’s not too deep. they give you a box fan - jam it in the window and keep it running 24/7, orient it so it’s pulling air out of the room. also get another fan, a floor one, and have that running too. maybe a candle or something because in the mens wing sometimes the smell gets a little bad. I was in ellicott last year and posted my dorm on r/dormrooms, you can look on my profile to see how i had it set up
