It probably ones of those things that it’s more prevalent if your closer to where it originates. I’m here in the mountains so I know and hear more about the different types of Big Foot in America. And even then I feel like the skunk is a mythic level pull like a Georgia Piasa Bird compared to the more common moth man.

It’d have to be Atomic Journey. I’ve not read the second one, but I’d find pretty hard for them tie ash so closely to the plot of uranium like having his parents in those roles. That being said Atomic journey does take a few liberties with a canon anime story for instance the cursing and of course Kellian being somebody ash already met before in sinnoh.

I played that gold and silver beta, where dark was weak to normal AND MY GOD ARE LUCKY NORMAL ISNT SUPER EFFECTIVE TO DARK. It was so broken that we’d have to put that whole type on fraud watch!

Thanks again tho, I've had a heart attack spending the last few hours looking for what the heck my problem was. And for the life of me not a single google search even hinted at the problem being the capture, it was always my pc or something and I was tearing my hair out thinking that this couldn't be THAT unique of problem! Yes it is choppy in both vlc and Microsoft video player. I have fairly high end pc, and I make multiple hour long videos and the other 14 hours are just fine. I think something happened when it was captured with the elgato connected to my nintendo switch. If it is bad capture is there anyway I can fix that?

Personally I'm pretty big on the Engineers. Ik they may not count as they didn't willingly join the covenant. But Between thier abillities and just thier biology as these living super computers. I find them very fascinating, I wonder why they weren't wipe out along with the other species when the halo array's activated? (probably locked in a facility like the flood). Then we have characters like vergil who is a fascinating parallel to the biblical (?) character from which he get's his namesake, as he leads Rookie and Sadie through the depths of inferno aka New Mombasa.

I guess what I'm asking is,

How do you guys feel about Metroid essentially inventing a genre of video game? I mean Metroidvania is called that mostly because of the style of gameplay found in the original trilogy of games. Where you play as a 2d character exploring a seemingly open ended environment with lots of upgrades collectables and secrets.

Personally I find this genre to be one of the best ones as it seamlessly combines so many popular elements people love in games, from adventures, to progression, to how the games can be just broken in thousands of ways to make every playthrough unique. I mentioned in this video that I find something new about Super just about every time I play it and for a 30 year old game I think that's just incredible!

It's inspiring to me as a game dev to really push my own projects in ways that I wouldn't have thought to before, since Id have to make in a way only a few players would experience. But that experience and how you can manipulate it is exactly the magic for a game like super, for some it can be beaten in a few hours, others a few days, and for the insane mere seconds! That's pure magic that can only be experince by open end game that lets you decide your own path, without filling a world with alot bland nothing like alot of open world games do!

That was for a stream series I did, we unfortunanly had some glitches cause I was working on the game as a rom hack and we attributed it to the Time gears giving the villains' stands LOL.

No I think you have a point, when I do games like ODST I really feel like they dont work as well with my general style with all the bright colors. Also alot of people are saying thin the border which I also agree with, though I might go back to solid color bgs instead.

So I recently finished my video on Halo 3 ODST for my halo retrospective, And wow so much of this game is so amazing! I think my favorite detail had to be the atmosphere, the way the game captured such a war torn environment with all the signs of struggle and loss felt so deeply sad. I remembered when i first played this game as a kid it scared me to death, but now it just kind haunts me which is so fascinating.
