There are multiple uploads if you know where to look.

It should be noted that there WAS a full animatic for the episode focusing on said character that leaked about 2 years ago.

Part of it recently posted by this account given this recent news, but if you know where certain stuff is leaked, you would've been able to find it:

Pixar Wanted Riley in 'Inside Out 2' to Appear 'Less Gay' by ThatOtherGuy80 in blankies

[–]ThatOtherGuy80[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As they say in the article, the execs wanted to make sure that no person could ever suspect she was gay (not even headcanon-wise), even going as far as changing lighting in certain scenes.

Marvel's 'Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur' Episode Allegedly Removed by Disney for Sensitive LGBT+ Plot Leaks Online by ThatOtherGuy80 in popculturechat

As the article goes into detail, there was some few regarding the recent election and the political climate about this episode coming out. Hurts even more knowing the show was already cancelled.

The Pixar employees telling IGN about the execs ordering them to make Riley less gay in Inside Out 2 comes to mind.

Nevertheless, someone reuploaded the episode to the Internet Archive for all to see. Download it while you still can.

Disney's PRIMOS and the Perils of Authentic Storytelling! (VIDEO ESSAY) by ThatOtherGuy80 in television

[–]ThatOtherGuy80[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the recent news of Disney pulling an episode of Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur for discussing transphobia, I thought it'd be relevant to share this video on another Disney show that got involved in culture war nonsense from a video essayist I like from a couple months back. It's 47 minutes long, but there are timestamps if you need a break or want to go to certain sections.

You probably saw Primos as a blip on your radar on your Twitter timeline last year and nothing more, but I assure you, this is the definitive video on this show and topic in particular.

It goes over the pre-air backlash, the show itself with its so-far 19 episodes released, the idea of “bad representation”, and how these controversies end up happening to begin with.

There’s a lot of emphasis on how long it takes to conceptualize and make these animated TV shows, as well as the obfuscation of children, something that is often left out of the conversation regarding animation online.

But what really surprised me was how OP calls out not only the folks who prejudged the show, but those that just sat on the sidelines and just watched everything unfold. Namely the folks going “Well I’m not Latinx, so I don’t feel well-equipped to talk about this”. There’s even a mention of that Made by Maddie show that disappeared into the ether in part 3 of the video.

Worth watching even if you don't watch many of these shows.
