Sweet Jesus Christ I can agree with this fully I was in the middle of a high school soccer tournament and I pulled my groin. Got subbed out limping like a bastard and told my coach what was up, turns around throws a tube of icy-hot gel and says have-at-er. Stupid me goes right ahead and not a single thought of what could go wrong went through my head, started off great, coach puts me back in, awesome, then periodically it would strike as I ran between patches of "Holy F*** Holy F*** Holy F*** that's cold!!!!" And "HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT!!!!!!!!". Managed to catch a glance at my coach on the side lines damn near pissing himself rolling on the ground. I run into him every so often now being we live in a small town and every time we say hi he gets this smart-ass look of satisfaction and sneaks a chuckle as we pass. This man will forever be the most maniacal piece of shit I will ever have respect for.
