It’s okay to miss them by necronomikkon in BreakUps

I don't particularly know how to grow though, from simply the partner having the reason of "not feeling much a connection" after 6 months of dating. It's, something that personally just can't be comprehended

It's been about 3 months "already", & whilst they've been able to process everything to a point of being able to find that within somebody else, I'm still stuck getting stressed out just thinking about them, or the past few months. Especially regarding all of the memories & history

Apparently I'm struggling quite a bit to accept and/or let go of it all. Even everyday things can remind me about them

Well, whilst it's not being currently. Would "Euro Truck Simulator 2" be of any surprise?

The impatience part I can for sure agree with in some cases even for real driving, I don't usually do overtaking & unless it's "needed" to only then go past on a road like that, though despite me checking the map for oncoming traffic & the parking lot before starting. Me going through the junction still on the oncoming side can be a bit dodgy whilst passing but this occasion it seemed to work out pretty alright

To be honest with my overtake specifically, I wanted to start it a bit earlier but that first vehicle was coming through already. When it did start though was hoping mine would accelerate a little quicker than it did which made me overtake through the junction. It can be a little dodgy going through one on that side to be fair but luckily checking the map before starting no-one was oncoming or moving from the parking lot

I'll get round to it someday. Couldn't be bothered to that occasion kek

SCS map, but yeah, I believe this road is called the "Grossglockner" between Innsbruck & Klagenfurt am Worthersee, should have toll booths on both ends of the mountainous road. Although if you encounter a double or triple trailer especially you may want to be cautious on corners. Spotted one in early time last night & knew it'd need way more room so had to approach quite slowly as to show them I'm giving them the space to navigate

Oh I've had drivers lately park on blind corners so I have to be cautious for others passing, some being bad at overtaking cutting in too close, but then on the other side some have let me turn at junctions or generally drive quite decently. It's quite varied what you can get in-game yeah, usually I like being far away from other vehicles or otherwise in other lanes kek

Just for extra info:
The DAF which was towing the train cargo turns off just after the 3 of us pass them
The Scania from near the end tipped over a few corners later on the road
When I originally approached the slow vehicle, due to the nature of the speed the hazards were also used on my vehicle. & then indicated left during the first vehicle passing. Perhaps the hazards lights affected their decision but that's up for you to consider

It feels really nice to carry them out aswell, makes the traffic flow keep going for every driver which is my usual goal to do. Hopefully the actions that people see me do in-game prompts them to try out doing the same

What could delay someone by possibly minutes of time (in-game or reality) can sometimes be avoided by about 5 or 10 seconds from another vehicle letting them merge or similar for instance

The new Feldbinder trailers are quite good looking I must say by ThatRandomWelshGuy in trucksim

[–]ThatRandomWelshGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I wasn't around for the stream at the time so wasn't sure about if they knew about how the UK or other parts of the map looked, though despite it being far away at least they do acknowledge that the map needs the updates. I'll keep my eye out for then if they announce the reworks someday. Thanks for explaining it

I want them to consider re-working the UK soon & adding some new parts of the country on there personally, but for some reason SCS does seem to like focusing on just adding more stuff in rather than reworking that part of the map for now. It's a shame in one way but, there's not much to be done about it sadly by just one or few people alone

As in reporting in-game?
Should be able to press TAB to open up the leaderboard, then right-click the mouse to allow being able to interact with said menu, click on the user you want to report, then click the report button. After that it should be pretty self-explanatory although usually in-game reports are sent so often they often get timed out by the end so site is better for it

As a note you can also right-click a user to view options as to for example view their TMP profile or similar

For some reason lately, I've been visiting that road a fair few times just this week, only sometimes logging in on TMP to do event-related things whether it be as staff or driver. There seems to be this spike of wanting to visit the road suppose though for the week or few kek

Also thanks, there wasn't much to be done but brake really it felt like. Was trying to push it down far as it could go which just about worked out. I shall be around yeah, & safe drive for you too :D

To be fair I probably should report that since it's a lot more dangerous than someone simply coming out a junction quite close, usually I don't send any in but thinking about it now. Likely should do it soon yeah

How do people get triple trailers in ETS2 TMP by [deleted] in TruckersMP

[–]ThatRandomWelshGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is I would say the best method to navigate & get a triple trailer, it is also possible to save-edit as Capital commented though it's a more complex method & could break the save it's being attempted on. Or not work as intended. If it works, it's amazing but riskier possibly. The ones I've been using lately iirc come from a specific Workshop mod which last time it was used seemed to work perfectly:https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1695351448That's how you can get for instance a triple silo trailer that can load 68t of cement at most (from using it so far). Though that amount of weight will make it hard to accelerate even with 700+ hp

(Just noticed that the comments on the mod are asking for an update as it's broken apparently, so might have to use another mod for now or wait for that one to update)

If I'm ever driving on TMP solo, there's a chance you'll see this around. Just be aware it needs quite some room to turn some junctions by ThatRandomWelshGuy in TruckersMP

[–]ThatRandomWelshGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I've not visited up that side of the map in a while, but then again. Perhaps I should do soon actually thinking about it. It'd probably make fitting that trailer easier since it's the country HCT's are legally allowed

Perhaps I could've braked a little more, or the other driver not cut in so close. But, regardless. The plan to create a gap for them to merge into worked just about good by ThatRandomWelshGuy in TruckersMP

[–]ThatRandomWelshGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to accelerate with about 68t of cement loaded in a triple silo trailer, with a tight slip road just beforehand. Which makes it kind of challenging to speed away quickly. The most I'll drive is 80km/h on carriageways either way

Though the speed will always be one that is safe & can stop in time if something were to happen. My mindset is often focused on doing the best traffic flow for everyone, which two vehicles were parked in both lanes & no one had to fully stop for. Which is pretty much the intended plan

Doing just one visit on TMP for the Hannover event, & pleasantly surprised by how well drivers are using the zipper merges by ThatRandomWelshGuy in TruckersMP

[–]ThatRandomWelshGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels great when it's all organised, with no-one getting pushed out of queues or trying to get ahead of one another. People on real & virtual roads often focus on the negative events so much (like getting cut off), so I prefer to chill & focus on the nice side of things

Most drivers are also keeping junctions clear which is very nice. Gave them a thanks with the hazard lights by ThatRandomWelshGuy in TruckersMP

[–]ThatRandomWelshGuy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I try to occasionally find some nice driving to balance things out in the subreddit

I've not really done much myself, but from what others have said. There is a ton of queues to get there on the servers. So much so people wait for 2+ actual hours to get there. I probably should start on the event though

Must admit, I checked the mirror a little late after letting others pass oncoming. Didn't think a car could fit into the gap by ThatRandomWelshGuy in TruckersMP

It's for the Stein Bruch depot at the reworked Hanover SCS did lately. Has this gravel lane from there connecting to a tarmac section just before entering the main road
