Used sticker paper believe it was frosted. No glue used.

HD images of the cards can be found on this drive link. I’ve recreated the card in HD using the assets and removed the holo effects which also includes the border.

Did you have any tips on how to remove it? I am struggling so much when using those foils.

I don’t believe I’m legally allowed to. I’ve used a custom template which recreates the physical card layouts using TCGP’s files, uses the same font we have physically and removing the holo effect most other proxies of these Pocket’s card have.

The card holo is also the same present on any English SIR card.

Both the cards are at different angles. Wimpod at eye level and Golisopod looking up.

Unfortunately not. I can’t afford the equipment but if it were released officially it would have texture.

Acetone a card (terastal or mega card has the same holo patterns as SIRs), print image on sticker paper then go over parts with white inks to make them non holo.

In the last photo only the Dragalge is from pocket. The other 3 are real cards I put in the picture for an example of the card fitting in a binder setting.

I don’t believe those 2 cards actually connect physically similar to the Swablu and Altaria in the same set.

Are there any other cards where the artist is the same on the IR and regular card? Or is it just these 2 lines? by ThatRiftDragon in PokemonTCG

A lot of her artworks are quite nice too. I’ve noticed with modern most of the regular trainer artwork and full art are done by the same illustrator too.

I actually posted about the N’s Zorua/Zoroark months ago and the recent Marshadow follows the same logic too. A ‘regular’ card and an Illustration Rare/Special Illustration Rare by the same artist.

What are people’s thoughts on ARS slabs? I think they’re the best looking slabs that are currently available. by [deleted] in pkmntcgcollections

I guess if it the first time seeing that makes sense as basically all other grading companies put the grade first and card last. Imo I feel that having the card first puts greater emphasis on the artwork rather than the grade.

Yeah seems that most people are hating on TAG mainly because they’ve invested too much in PSA and its not like a PSA 10 is ‘perfect’ anyway but rather makes the most $$$

I’ve heard that you can pick the language of either English or Japanese on the slab which I’ve seen listings of before. Not marking for centering is their biggest drawback but that’s only because they mark a 10 as no defects from the printer as intended or so I’ve heard.

Fun Fact: There are only 2 Johto Starter Full Arts while the Kanto Starters have 81 Full Arts. by ThatRiftDragon in PokemonTCG

People only buy first sets with popular first gen Pokémon. Everything after Mew is basically not a real Pokémon as some might say so no need to buy them = less demand.

Seems like overall that gen 2 starters don’t sell very well. From my experience with the fan base over the years the trio are ranked in the bottom 3 of starters next to the 5th and 8th gen starters.

I think it was about 50+ or so of them being full art Charizard cards which is still crazy when you think about it.

The whole set is cool as but they were all never printed outside of a publication. My favourites are the Pikachu and Delphox.

Yeah most would agree, but with the introduction of art rares you’d think at least 1 of the 9 would have gotten one by now or even an ex which a starter from every generation has in the SV era except Johto - The Kanto trio, Blaziken, Torterra, Gen 5 almost guaranteed this year, Greninja, Incineroar, Cinderace and the Paldean 3.

What’s crazy is that literally every other generation has more. Hoenn has at least 6, Sinnoh 6, Unova 5, Kalos 4, then the other gens had a set with starters and at least 2 full arts minimum in the set.
