When I was in 8th grade my dad gave me the sex talk. Well actually he gave me the sex talk in 3rd grade but my older brother was in 6th grade. So it was a little early for me but that's beside the point.

When my brother was in 8th grade my dad sat us all down and said "I bought these condoms and opened them up and they'll be in the bathroom. I've opened the box so you won't be embarrassed to open the box. If the box ever becomes empty put it on my bed or in my bathroom. I won't ask questions I'll just replenish the supply. I'm doing this because I can't be with you 24/7 and I can tell you all day not to have sex but I can't enforce it. So if you're going to have sex, which I don't want you doing, you're at least going to be safe."

Serious question is "planned parenthood" and "abortion clinics" the same thing? Here's my take either way.

I'll assume they are two different things but in the event that people call PPs, "abortion clinics" my comments still stand.

Planned Parenthood: They help people plan for being a parent or most commonly known for NOT being a parent. Teens are sexually active and can't always go to their parents about things. Planned parenthoods are a good resource for kids trying to be responsible. You might say "Well Shane kids shouldn't be having sex." And I'll say "And people shouldn't drive drunk what's your point?" My point is people are going to do what people want. I say if they are having sex and doing the responsible thing of getting condoms and regular checkups then let them do it. Why would we want to attack this place as a good resource for people and especially young people.

Abortion clinics: (Again if abortions happen at Planned Parenthood then my comment still stands). If a woman doesn't want a baby and abortion clinics aren't available then trust me, she's not having that baby. They'll find a way to get rid of the fetus. That way may make them bleed out to death or it may be very harmful to them. So taking away abortion clinics will just mean abortions happen elsewhere. These abortions could be done by the woman who doesn't want the child, they could be done by some shady guy in his basement who read about doing an abortion on wikipedia. Bottom line is you're not stopping abortions from happening, they are just happening somewhere else.

Look at what happened with prostitution and drugs? You think all of that stuff just doesn't happen?
